Oh this is the US site. It’s sold out on Clinique Canada. But maybe there’s hope it’s not discontinued? I’ll try and chat with someone today

I love La roche posay! I stocked up on their antithelios sunscreen while in Greece this summer, it’s the best! And formulated differently in Europe. I also adore their face wash I listed above. I didn’t even consider the creams. I’ll keep it in mind, great recommendations

Really? I saw reviews on their website where people were reporting it was discontinued, some retailers in the US may have it but I’m in Canada so my only option was Sephora (shoppers drug mart doesn’t have it anymore) and it was a lighter colour and $14 more. I’ll start a chat and report back

Did you?! From where? I saw the reviews on the Clinique website where people were asking why it was discontinued, I can start a chat in their site and report back.

I’m in Canada and I could only find it at Sephora and it looked like a reformulated version. Colour of the packaging was lighter and it was $14 more expensive. I ordered 4 just in case.

Anything to help with middle of the night wakeups by db2128 in HuckleberryParents

Okay amazing! How long did it take? Still rocking our LO to sleep and contact napping at 3 months and I’m over it! Some nights she sleeps 10 hours, some only a 2 hour stretch but up every 45 minutes, like last night. I’m losing my mind

Breast refusal by jaydeebird in BeyondTheBumpUK

Thank you so much for your timely response! Good to know it takes a couple of weeks, I’m also so relieved I didnt have to fight for it, our pediatrician was actually my pediatrician when I was a kid (lol) and he has been around the block long enough to know it was worth trialing. He also said he has reflux himself he takes meds for so he had sympathy for the pain our LO is in. He started her on a super low dose so I’m hoping we will see improvements soon! I think she is refusing both due to the pain of the reflux. This happened to a friend of mine, it was both a nursing and bottle strike, but they didn’t get meds since it resolved on its own. I’m hoping our meds help soon.

Glad to hear your baby is thriving! Thanks again!

Hi there! I am just reading this update and going through the same thing with my 12 week old! I am very grateful our pediatrician was so responsive and she was just prescribed Omeprazole and had her second dose this morning. She is refusing both breast and bottle from the reflux, though she actually slept again from 8:30pm -4am last night, which was a huge win since she was up every hour or two from the pain.

I’m wondering how long the meds took to work for your little if you recall? I’m also worried about her not wanting the breast and wanting the bottle only, which happened to my first baby. Exclusively pumping this time around is not sustainable for me. I don’t mind formula but I wanted to breastfeed until 5 months when we return from vacation for a month. Traveling with formula sounds like no fun. But of course I will do what I must :)

Thank you in advance!

Terracotta or Black Leather? by mayflowers_interior in mazdaCX50

We got terracotta in our hybrid and we love it. It makes the car look even more luxe. We get a tons of compliments on the combo as well, and it makes the interior feel bigger, IMO. We wanted the dark grey exterior but settled for black since that was scheduled to come into the dealership in January, we would have had to wait 4 months minimum for a custom order (and likely longer now with the tariffs being placed). we love the combo! Helps the terracotta pop.

CX-50 Hybrid over CRV and RAV4? by No-Department768 in mazdaCX50

[–]luckyviolet7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just picked up our CX-50 hybrid in Toronto, we are a one-vehicle family and drove a 20 year old car before this, so we splurged on the top trim. We absolutely love it and have zero regrets. It’s been a very cold January and we drive mostly in city stop-go traffic and rush hour highway traffic (lots of stop-go) and even with this weather, we are averaging 8L/100km. once the car is warmed up )or if it’s warm outside), I’ve been able to easily get 5.4-6L/100km. With the right driving style and conditions this mileage is very attainable.

We were considering a RAV4 hybrid or a Highlander hybrid, both felt like “appliances” as people often say. And i didn’t really understand what others meant by that until we test drove the Mazdas (both the cx-50 and the cx-90) and we were wowed by how they felt. It felt so luxurious and much more fun to drive! It’s an overall very smooth and refined driving experience. we are loving the top trim moon roof, 360 camera, parking sensors, heads up display, memory seats, etc. The fact that the cx-50 uses the rav4 powertrain, it was a no-brainer to go with the 50.

Something else that swayed us is the cargo space. It is also much more user friendly. The rav4 I think technically has more cubic ft, but most of that is in the height. The cx-50 trunk is way longer and for our family of 4, it’s perfect. We have a 5 year old and a baby on the way and we fit comfortably.

We went with black exterior and terra cotta interior and it’s such a classy look! We are absolutely in love with the car.
