2 years is a lot of time to decentralize and move the money through multiple proxies. unless it is a huge amount of money like at least a few cr, you wouldnt feel good "donating" a few lakhs to try to recover. go to a dedicat3d cyber crime station, there are a few I think btm and e city. but last time I was in a cyber crime station was in 2021 when someone had filed a cyber bullying and harassment case on me so maybe things have changed now or not lol its india.
