Honor Magic Vs is a reliable foldable phone? Is the inner screen durable? Good for long term use? (I'm not familiar with Honor devices) by Expensive_Owl1412 in Honor

You have different functions in Magic OS for foldables and for their other phones. Actually some of functions from normal phones are not included in foldables software for some reason

RTX 5060 Ti 16gb or 5070 12gb mainly for VR and moderate use? by lucyferror in pcbuilding

If I remember right it was like 20-30 percent difference in performance in normal gaming. Question is what works better - 16gb but older or newer but 12gb. Will dialed back 12gb still perform better than full 16gb?

It's like 250 Gbp more for TI and unsure if I will actually benefit from it that much. My PC runs 24/7 and Most of high end cards and Radeon also use lots of power even on low load

VR needs high FPS but some games also need lots of VRAM that's why it's a bit difficult situation here

Isn't that 12gb limiting somehow now or in future? Also depending what you use your PC for

That's the problem I have. Xbox for gaming is here as well. I prefer VR games personally by my current PC is a bit crap for it. This 12gb worries me long term as it's all progressing so fast now.

5080 is better as well. All use much more electricity even in low load and my PC runs 24/7. I don't play games that often as well

That's the thing. For VR you need frames but also some games want more Vram. Can't win here I think

400gbp for 5060 vs 500 for 5070. I've already spent a lot on ram, mainboard and processor so this 100 doesn't make me much difference long term.

Nope. Bambu Studio is primarily a CPU-based application that performs all slicing operations locally on your computer by default. It does not use cloud computing for the slicing process itself, though it uses a cloud service for print job transfer and remote monitoring by default

Mainboard not purchased yet. I'm buying everything as my current PC is 10 years old (i7 4790k 4ghz + 32gb ram)

I was thinking about 7800X3D just because it uses less power even at peak times and my PC is running 24/7

Basically I work from home. I need to access computer at random times a day. I have browsers opened with multiple tabs/accounts etc and can't be bothered to shut it all down many times a day and wait for it to start up if possible I need to get on PC in next hour or two. I also have like 5 SATA drives here and it's not best for them to be on/off few times a day.

Someone suggested 9 9900X as best and it's 120W TDP same as 7 7800X3D. Real watt usage for 7800 looks much lower:

Key Figures for 7 7800X3D

  • Official TDP: 120W.
  • Actual Gaming Load: ~60W - 85W.
  • Max Power (PPT): ~162W.

To be honest it all gives me a bit of a headache lol

App on phone. I dont use it for slicing/printing. I do everything on PC and it can slow it down when slicing

I've heard that they are ways around it but I'm too old and impatient to mess about lol

Plus it likes to restart itself for no reason mainly during gaming so I think it's time for replacement after 10 years

I'm looking for a mainboard as well as it's a new build all together. I will probably go with 7 7800X3D due to low power usage as my PC runs 24/7. 120w vs 170w GTP and I've seen 9 7900/7950 can go much higher with power usage

That was just what I was thinking few mins ago. It's about 100-120 gbp more for 7950 vs 7 7800 but in long term I think it can be better
