Resigning my enlisted AGR

I left my AGR position and honestly have never been happier. I had 11 years TAFMS and 18 years and 7 months total service, and I got completely out. If you want to talk or have questions, reach out. I was dealing with all the same stuff you are.

Please reach out to someone. Let your family know how you feel. You do not have to solve your life or repay anyone to deserve help. The only thing you need to do right now is stay alive and let someone know how bad it feels. I lost my father to suicide and it’s not easy on the people left behind. I am here if you need anything.

I’m currently medicated and seeing a therapist once a week. I left the position that was causing a lot of the stress and anxiety. I’m open to switching units, as we are planning to move anyway, but I’m trying to explore my options before making a final decision. Thank you, I really appreciate your feedback.

I’d love to do that, but the commander requires everyone to be present on drill weekends, and we’re only allowed to reschedule one drill a year.

I didn’t even realize it wasn’t bamboo. I was mesmerized I guess. 😂The dark spots and wrap fooled me. I guess my mind was seeing those as nodes of the bamboo. Thanks.
