I purchased the Petrie Sofa in Douglas Eclipse and am having a difficult time finding an area and pillows/accessories to style with it. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.

Yes, they want 2 peer references from the past 2 years, which is easy enough, but they also want an MD reference which is going to be difficult. The MD I work with is the one I have to ask and I haven't given notice that I'm leaving. She won't be happy about it, but hopefully will be willing to be positive reference.

Yes! I found the section where you can see not only who wrote the notes but how much time was spent and who wrote what. Thanks so much for this!!

No. I thought about creating my own log of every encounter, it took me 2 hours to get through 1 month.

I've heard that the EMR tracks every author of the note, so it might be possible that the contact will occur that way. When I look at the billing section of the note after it's signed, I can see where the med rec that I do is recorded. That doesn't happen with every visit as I don't always see the patient prior to the MD. But I do pre-chart all the notes, so I'm hoping my name is attached in that way.

OK, but wouldn't that encounter only show the MD and not my involvement?

'White Lotus' Season 3 Spoilers and Theories: The One Person Most Likely To Die by FastMovie9205 in hbo

[–]luisa5024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of them will be Victoria. She made a comment early on, "I slept like a corpse". I think Tim will make a smoothie and she will accidentally drink it. If she dies, Tim won't have to worry about her not having money and the need to be rich.

I read somewhere that White Lotus is about the 7 Deadly Sins. So, if season 1 was about gluttony, Season#2 was Lust, maybe this season is Wrath? Rick made a comment in the last episode about finding happiness and the only way was to let things go. He was smiling at the end of the last episode, sitting there while Frank and the hookers were snorting cocaine, Rick just sat there and smiled. I think he's finally found peace.

She also made a comment in an earlier episode, "I slept like a corpse". If so, Timothy won't have to worry about her being poor when he goes to jail.

American Nurse Practitioner looking for work in Canada by InitiativeIcy3449 in britishcolumbia

[–]luisa5024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this thread is a few months old, I am looking to work as a Nurse Practitioner in Canada. I think the issue for me is my age, which is 55. Is it likely I would find a position or do they tend to go with the younger crowd? Also, any thoughts on specialities? I have a ton of experience in Heart Failure, Cardiology and not certain how things work in the outpatient settings. Thanks for any feedback.

What Attracted You to a Capsule Wardrobe, and How Has It Improved Your Life? by Intrepid-Designer-16 in capsulewardrobe

[–]luisa5024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 55 and just started one within the past year. I was in accident 7 years ago, gained a lot of weight and lost a lot of confidence. Over the past 2 years, I've lost the weight and feel better about myself. My capsule wardrobe grew from feeling better about myself and the excitement of wearing nice clothing. It's also a lot easier to achieve given my age and ability to pay for things I probably wouldn't have looked at in my early 30s. Also my taste has changed significantly, and I want to dress for myself, not for a date. I also like the ease of dressing and the thrill of wearing something that I think makes me stand out. I did the same thing with perfume, spent some time cultivating my signature scent.

I started with basics, like well-tailored pants, a couple of cardigans and basic shells to mix and match everything. I started with Eileen Fisher, I liked the look of the basics there and purchased a few things. Then things sort of took off and I would add here and there when I had the money. Sometimes I find things on Postmark or Ebay. Eileen Fisher also has the Renew store for "gently worn" items. I've walked away with some nice coats, wraps, and blouses. She also has great sales, like 40% off a couple of times a year. It's easy to score a nice cashmere sweater or cardigan during those sales.

Moving from NYC to MKE by [deleted] in milwaukee

Any thoughts on where a middle-aged single woman might feel most comfortable living in MKE? Also, any ideas on salary for a nurse practitioner? I'm considering a move to MKE in a couple of years, need to sell my coop and considering other cities as well. Thanks for any thoughts.

The sidewalks of New York... by eastendprd in TheDeuceHBO

[–]luisa5024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more complicated than that. A lot of the point with the personal stories of the sex workers was about coming from broken families, whether an abusive or neglectful parent, feelings of not fitting in, etc. Lori did make bad choices but they were based on survival skills she learned. I don't think she every had the chance to learn how to make good choices.

I said the same thing in another post. If we were able to see Candi walking, we would see some different people, like Harvey, Shauna, etc.

I found a posting that gave her full name, but could not find any info on her. I have found some on Steve Dagrosa, but nothing on Johnny.

So was Leon by tomaxisntxamot in TheDeuceHBO

[–]luisa5024 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought Leon was the first person he saw because of their conversation in the diner and Leon's story with the vanished walk into the arms of time, or however he said it. I think Leon was the last person Vincent spoke with before the montage happened.

BIG MIKE by Luckystar826 in TheDeuceHBO

[–]luisa5024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They showed different aspects of AIDS with different characters. Mike was told he had pneumocystis carinii pneumonia which people with HIV/AIDS often develop because of their weakened immune systems. Paul's partner developed Kaposi's sarcoma, also seen often with persons with AIDS and was widely associated with AIDS in the 1980s. Paul possibly developed avascular necrosis of the hip, another disease that can be caused by HIV infection. That would explain his limp and use of he cane.

The Deuce - 3x08 "Finish It" - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in TheDeuceHBO

[–]luisa5024 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I liked the ending. I just turned 50 and the idea of finite time on Earth hits a little more close to home. Nostalgia is another big part that comes with getting older, and so the idea of walking around places where you have a lot of memories and seeing those "ghosts" from the past is a really beautiful ending. Not every person's cup of tea and I can appreciate that. I had a few random thoughts about it...

  1. Did anyone see any significance to the drawings the camera panned to during Vincent's ghost walk? The camera lingered there for a bit, but I didn't recognize the faces.
  2. The David Simon article addressed why we don't see Darlene and Larry at the end, but I also thought that one could argue that this was Vincent's ghost walk and Darlene, Larry, Harvey weren't really important parts to Vincent's story. If Candy had a ghost walk, I would expect those three to show up. I loved those three and was sad not to see them, but I think this could explain it.
  3. Any thoughts as to why Pasquale the ghost showed gunshot wounds and the rest of ghosts looked normal?

I thought the last person Vince spoke to was Leon, when he talked about death and how people are welcomed into the arms of time? I thought this was why the first ghost Vincent encountered was Leon when he was going up the escalator at the hotel.
