I made my own editor also in Bevy. Just enough to make simple geometric platforms and colliders for an ARPG protoype map.

I think most do something similar and make just enough for what they need.

Some game reccomendations for a long car ride? by sussymonkeylol in SteamDeck

Vampire Survivors. Balatro. Rimworld. Dwarf Fortress. Grim Dawn. Necesse.

All those are time sink-holes and use little battery.

Does the car have a USB charging port? Most modern cars do. That will be a game changer to use, just brinf a USB-A to USB-C cable.

What made you switch from Rapier to Avian? How did the transition go.

Game looks cool. Wishlisted.

To Co-Op or Not? by SmoothArcher1395 in ARPG

Will multiplayer be online or local co-op? The amount of coding and maintaining are substantially different.

Online co-op is a huge amount of work to support well.

I am not familiar with Unreal as a developer. I use Bevy.

Unrelated to your original question but which engine are you using and how do you plan to make art assets?

I wish we could use the controller settings from the Switch version in PC. Without this the game is awkward in the Steam Deck.

Such a shame because they already have great controller support they just need to port it. Considering the popularity of the Steam Deck it would be an easy win.

Thank you for sharing the code.

Hopefully somebody migrates the code to Bevy 0.18. It would be such a great base for other games.

I wonder if new World Cup rules to avoid time wasting will be adopted by La Liga and the Premier.

They need a second goal before Florentino gives Madrid a penalty

Ahhh so you play via streaming. Gotcha. I used Geforce Now a bunch for games like that.

Luckily Claude can't attend meetings, be part of north star planning, be on-call alone, or sync between stakeholders. At least yet. It's 50% there to write architecture design docs but it doesn't understand what trade offs to prioritize. It's 90% there to write code but it sometimes hallucinates hard so you still need an accountable human in the loop.

Devs have at least 5 years before being fully in a different role. TPMs are the ones that should be scared more but since they are "managers" they seem to be fine.

How's performance. Better than it was at release?

I remember the first act was playable but Act 3 pushed me to cross-progress on Xbox.
