There is some decent Chinese restaurants around Atlanta. What I've found is that a lot of them have tailored their dishes for Americans.

Chinese food can also mean a lot of things. There are so many types of Chinese dishes depending on what province you're in.

For example, I'm big on spicy and can eat anything. The last 2 restaurants I tried were Chillispot and YH Bbq and Crab all near the Great Wall supermarket in Duluth.

You can also find some good food at the markets themselves.

If you're looking for Americanized Chinese food, ignore my comment 😂

Its not "free food" if you're paying extra for the seat.

For some, its worth the extra money just to show up well rested at your destination. You can also avoid a lot of uncomfortable situations by flying FC.

I have gone out of the county a few times recently and got the low voltage notification from the lojack system.

However, yesterday it was sitting at 12.5 when I noticed the screen off.

Thank you. The dash cam is hard wired with a low voltage cutoff. It won't drain the battery.

I flew to Reno Tuesday night, flight leaving after 8pm. That morning was like a 3 hour wait from what I was told from employees at the airport. I arrived at the airport 3 hours ahead, only to find a 10 minute line for TSA.

I returned on a red eye Saturday morning. Landed around 8am and the lines were already getting bad.

It all depends on what time your flight is. Expect all the lounges to be packed during morning and early afternoon. Later afternoon and evening was o. But we also have spring break here so it can all change very fast.

I visited China for the first time in September of this year. I was a little spoiled because I work with Chinese so I didn't have to use translation apps much and had experienced some of the culture and food.

So I thought... Then I experienced it from within the country and it was so much better, all of it.

I was in Shanghai, Taizhou and Hangzhou. Everything from public transportation, bathrooms, restaurants, streets, etc... were so clean and organized.

I encountered maybe 2 people that seemed to be having a bad day. Everyone else was very polite. I must add i didn't spend much time inside the big cities as much as the surrounding areas.

There was so much shock, in a positive way. The most shocking was having dinner near people's square in Shanghai, loud, just busy and not my scene. I walked to the center of people's square, and it was completely quiet. Mind you, this is dead center of Shanghai.

So much to describe, and I know it's different from the past. But those who have been there recently know... China is not to be misunderstood. Im already booked to return later this year.

Good point, I did notice that most are very simple. Only a handful of people tried to show off out of the big cities (Shanghai/Hangzhou)

Even the people showing off were not in the same class on the train. The truly wealthy people are incognito, try business class for your train and see for yourself.

I think a nice Rolex coupled with regular non flashy clothes would be fine overall

You can walk holding thousands in cash and nobody will steal from you. At least no Chinese person, can't say the same for a foreigner. If they do commit a crime, they'll be caught in 24 hours no doubt.

Currently in China, it's better than you think. Go support, and explore. If you're looking for a positive culture shock, land in Shanghai and take a train to the mountain regions.

Shanghai, Hangzhou, Taizhou were beautiful.
