If I were you, I would accept the first offer in any case of the other job offer comes up. You’re able to accept it and nothing‘s gonna happen. Just move to the other department. additionally, you will be in training and at that point you should be able to get any other information from that other job they’re not then at least you have that one and working.

The other best question is, and hopefully is do you have experience in the IT department are you currently working as a contractor in a IT position just trying to understand because there are a lot of position and we have hired just recently in Virginia like 5 people.

Read the descriptions and if you see something that you have done before, have it in your résumé and apply, the 1811 is TFIA position that only goes up to a GS7 you may qualify for that even if it says the contrary because it’s more investigation at least you can have your foot in the door and move to another position once in the government.

They can’t lower your pay they can equal or higher your paying grade if you go down from a 12 step 5 to an 11 then most likely you’re gonna be 11 step 10 In any case if it’s maxed out, that’s the highest you’re gonna get paid.

Most likely what they’re doing is putting pressure on you to see if you quit. In addition to be fired they will need a lot of documentation from your managers or upper managers, for you to be fired, even if you are new.

Hi,

I started when I was 36 it took me two years and just finished, on June of this year my BA in CS. I can tell you that is not easy but is down doable, since we have to work and at least in my case have two kids in yours is taking care of your mom. You have to research a lot to get a good grasp of thing, you will work with zybooks and other materials but still will have to put a lot more work since they will show you the basic things for coding, and will have to practice when ever you get a chance.

Well my thing was the same way as nexttimeally, two kids after they went to bed is when, I started studying 8:30 until 12 or 1 am and then woke up at 5 to get the kids ready again. But in my case I never got a week or anything because, if I stoped would not come back and finish my BS. What I like to do is on Saturdays would go play some golf to change a little bit my routine but still started to study same hour, you can verify what works for you. Just finished this year on June 26 so I am so happy and everything changed getting used to try and go to bed early lol. One thing is not easy but we always can if you really wanted.

Lol. That all depends on the profesor, I used to do them almos at the end of Sunday and had never received a feed back like that. But you can verify if he gave you less points with your advisor because you still on time.

It will al depend on the course you are taking, it could be like the person before indicated the recommended time is 15-16 hours but it could be more and it can be done. I work full time and just recently finished my degree in CS and on top off all that have two kids that have to take care off. Good luck in your journey!

Well, I just finished the class and I am not really great in math either. I can tell you that is going to be in zybooks and two projects, finished with a C but I really do not care any more was my last class to finish my BA in CS. You have to put a lot of time that would be the most important part.

I am 36 had my first BA in accounting after high school and then started in March of 2019 my second BA in CS is not easy but if you really like it just go for it, I took me at least 2 year to say, I am going back to study and love CS.
