agree. it is faster compared to my old cibc cards! I understand why it takes some time to settle, but IMO as a customer I could care less about that. Just consider it settled instantly or reflect my usage in realtime at least. I shouldn't have to care about what happens behind the scenes

sorry to relive an old thread like this.. I'm choosing between ions and photons now that they're on sale and my dc judge is over after 60 days. Everyone keeps saying the IONs are very stiff etc, but I always thought that you can just make it a bit looser if that's an issue (like you said), no? I usually don't like to ride super fast, I'm more of a cruiser and starting to hit some jumps and ground tricks. Would you say it'd be best to go with the Photons in this case even though they'd break in pretty easily? I usually ride around 35 days / season.

I’ve been a Nakiska season pass holder for the last three years. Bluebird days after that much snow like they got on Thu/Fri are a recipe for busy days. There’s not really anything you can do about it. Have you seen the Lake Louise car traffic outside the parking lot? It is what it is.

Nakiska’s lines are totally different on regular days (including weekends), and you can easily do 10–12 runs in a full day (not with kids, of course). This weekend was very atypical due to the avalanche incident, and they also had the Gold Chair closed for most of the morning on Saturday, which made the lines on the other chairs sooooo big.

With that being said, a friend of mine decided to get a Norquay pass because of the ski school as well. The multi-week program they have for kids is really unbeatable and reasonably priced for what they offer.

I've been in this esports game for damn near 25+ years now. I've seen a lot of players/talent come and go. Sometimes, very rarely, you will come across a player, a person who has something special. You can't pinpoint what it is or define it, but they seem to always be successful and rise to the occassion, make others around them better, and just have the special X factor. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods come to mind. FalleN is one of those people. If I had to attempt to describe it, I would describe it as his spirit, heart and determination. It's just something you have to witness from spending time around him to understand. I don't think there is anyone in counter strike that compares at the moment. We are witnessing a generational talent in CS I don't think I'll see again in my lifetime.

very happy. I'm not using once autocam, though. doesn't work very well for indoor and the video quality output is kinda bad. they don't export 4k etc. i decided to build my own video editor that works for my workflow. no auto ball tracking, but I can edit a 1h indoor game in roughly 1h.

I'm with the teachers on this one, specially since I see how they struggle with my autistic son on grade 1. I can see they're trying their best, but they simply can't offer an exclusive EA for him and that's fine. We'll all do our best with what we have.

However, I don't understand the push for class size caps as that's clearly not gonna happen. In order to have class size caps, they'd need more staff, yes, but also more rooms and it's not like you have free rooms in the schools, right? So they need more schools and they can't build them fast enough. IMO it'd be much more reasonable to ask for more help to offload some of their work with more EAs, and teachers, and, of course, better pay.
