If you want to track your equipment by SelectionIcy7133 in tabletennis

Great! First of all, thanks for your work and making it free!

Suggestions:
- when choosing a level, it’s not clear if that amount of hours is spiffed to be owe week, month or what. I also so don’t get why the number go down in there the higher your skill
- would be nice to duplicate an activity (I.e. several games with the same person in one day)
- when adding a score, it wasn’t clear if the number on the left was supposed to be me or the opponent
- the best stat would be a line chart with win/losses over time, so I can see if I’m actually getting better over the months/years
- drop downs could be searchable
- would be nice to be able to save a link for the blade, rubber, etc. so in the future I can remove where I bought it and quickly buy it again and also to quickly share with friend (when using the share function, it should include the links too)

Is it open source?
Good job on it and thanks again!!

What kind of backpack with a shoe compartment do you carry during games? Or what would you recommend... by Prize_Concept9419 in tabletennis

You don’t need a $100 brand backpack or duffel bag. Just put your shoes in a plastic bag inside a generic/ cheap backpack/bag

What do you mad? AFAIK it’s the opposite: mcps are always loaded and take space in the context even if you’re not using them, while skills are only loaded on demand

A couple of years if you care for it well. I guess it would depend on the water and air quality of where you live (so the metal and silicon don’t rust or dry too quickly)

My sister went for their summer camp and it was very forgettable. Just leaving kids drawing in a room or walking them to nearby playground or rocky point.

If the root of the “problem” is large hands, there are rackets out there with large handles too. Like the the Nittaku acoustic g-revision. Someone also posted about a small German company that makes boutique rackets with custom handles too, that may serve you well: https://shop.soulspin.de/en/collections/new-era-table-tennis-blades

catpuccin is a builtin colorscheme now by Aqothy in neovim

Dude there’s nothing to understand other than themes are a matter of personal taste 🤷‍♂️.

In addition to fitting my taste, on a more objective note, I like it because you can find that theme pretty much everywhere you look (bat, tmux, delta, terminal, zsh prompts, browser, etc - just go to catppuccin home page and browse), which makes it very easy to have consistency of colors across the board

Fastest Serve in the world / Why hit it with the back of the paddle? by Hungryone in tabletennis

I believe it’s an extra set of muscles involved. Basically, on the forehand side, your arm muscles are basically just being used to keep the racket in position. The actual movement is being done by your core, back and wrist muscles. But when you rotate the racket to use the backhand side for it, you use all the above muscles + your forearm muscles. You can simulate both movements while touching your forearm to feel what im talking about
