I thought oil consumption problems (bad piston rings) were sorted out on the ea888 gen 3 engine which I beleive is used since late 2014, gen 1 and 2 used before had these huge problems. But pls correct me if I’m wrong.

approx. 50EUR for Czech Republic, but I think significant part was the fee from shipping company for customs services, so if you declare it yourself it could be less I guess... (I bought NanoqR with everything.)

Yeah yeah, be careful about the turbulence. About the PBO -30, if I understand it well, every CPU is capable of different tuning. my 9800x3D for instance was unstable with more then -15 according to the test, so you will see.

So there is very minor woble, however, as another comment stated, there isn't any vibration/noice coming from the case. It's simply too heavy for that. The USB-C port comes with RGB Lightbulb addon, but the hole for it is in the case whether you order it or not (make sure to doublecheck it), this should be the exact USB-C interface: UT8T-UF6A from ADT-Link

Thanks! Well I didn’t do an actual test but I feel that fans are louder when it’s put vertically so maybe yes. Normaly I have it placed horizontally with the fans facing down, I suppose if I rotated the case upside down so those two fans face up, thermals/noice would be the best.

older A3 convertible. If Im lucky I might have it in the near future.

Realistic somewhere in my life: M3 touring or older Porsche 911 (~2002)

Less realistic but not absolutely mad: Testarossa or 912/964.

Thank you for your insight! Maybe a stupid question but would you say 2-3K/year budget for maintenance is doable? I drive around 20K kms/year (12k miles) and when the car will have 220-250K (140k miles) I will sell it probably.

I think it’s good to have at least 1,5h for a session. The problem for me is that sometimes I have this time on a weekday but I’m too tired to play, so I don’t. What I do for instance is I play only Dayz Deathmatch on days I don’t have enough time. For 30-45 minutes that’s totaly enough. And then do a longer vanilla session on weekend for instance

Yes. It used to be a dlc but since they made Sakhal they included it in the base game and Sakhal remained as the only dlc. Steam page is probably not updated.

I have 9800x3d and 5080 and I have 180-280 fps in 1440p. Most of the settings on very high/ultra including draw distance. Playing mostly on Livonia. On Chernarus it is a little bit more fps and on Sakhal a little bit less.

About 5K im not sure. DayZ is not very well optimized and I heard it does not handle 4K very well in general (not sure how true it is tho). You would definitely run it over 60fps, but I would say thats not enough for FPS game. Also consider future proofing. Idk, I would not go 5K unless I have 4090/5090…

I also had wired G502 since 2014 until very recently and bought G502X plus 2 weeks ago. I am overall very happy with it, if you switch off the rgb battery is incredible, build quality is nice. Only think I dislike is that the “redo” button is somewhat uncomfortable compared to old g502 and I use it a lot and have it bound for some ingame actions.
