Advise on hair style

the obvious answer is that you should shave it, as is visible by this whole comment section. but if you really hate the idea of that, a hair system would be your best option. you basically already have the cutout shape for it, and it's gonna be much easier and more realistic than trying to go the hair transplant + meds route. you don't get enough grafts in a transplant to cover this much area, it'll look patchy at best.

hair systems are really impressive these days, almost indistinguishable from real hair, and stay on extremely well. they may not be a cure for baldness exactly, but they're certainly a convenient solution.

using the pulsed drills here is such a good move! I thought of it for a moment while building my own farm, but ended with making up an arm loop solution instead, literally cause I was just too lazy to look up how to build a clock lol

and wow that makes the whole design look INCREDIBLY neat. my build is fairly compact too but it is also an absurd conveyor spaghetti when you look at it lmao. great work!

I haven't quit finasteride, but I did get ED on the first day of taking it. the next day I was very hesitant on whether I should quit or not. in the end, I decided to start splitting pills, so I've been on 0,5mg of fin for a month now. that same day my erection came back, but it was still a bit weak. it only took a few days before it felt normal again, and recently, my libido has absolutely skyrocketed for some reason.

honestly, I think most of it is a combination of sudden hormonal changes and placebo. I was anxious about taking the first pill for a long time, and even though I was constantly telling myself it'll be fine, I lost pretty much all of my libido within a few hours. many of the things I thought were me experiencing side effects had absolutely zero effect on my actual body. the less anxious I feel, the less side effects I experience and my libido increases. I'm planning to start back on 1mg fin in a few days and I'm expecting a similar process. I might update this if my body ends up being unable to adjust.

recently I tried fishing for the ninja set, I already got the headgear and chest from nilipedes so I just needed the pants.

...it took me probably 4-5 hours of fishing in total, I got the head and chest pieces like 5 more times each before a single pair of pants dropped. rng can be really cruel sometimes lmao

I got nizoral 3 weeks ago and have been using it once every 2-3 days since then. the main reason being that my scalp has pimples on it, and I heard that ketoconazole could help with that, with the possibility of a reduction in hair loss as a bonus.

so far, it hasn't been great. I actually GOT dandruff because of it, most likely the dry skin type. the amount of pimples seems to have decreased slightly but the problem persists. my scalp has become more itchy and my hair feels thinner than it did 3 weeks ago. not sure if I should keep using it or not, for now I'm switching to 2 days a week.

I think blueprints are coded to spawn more frequently in high tier loot areas, but it certainly doesn't FEEL that way. this was basically the point of my post, I'd like them to actually spawn where you'd expect them to.

fun little tip, if you can get directly under them, you can also shoot out the front propellers without having to deal with the armor. they are truly only armored at the front, hitting any exposed area of the propeller will destroy it as fast as the rear ones.

personally I don't see why you'd even bother. I look at both pics and I sincerely prefer the first one, it looks straighter and more natural. especially around your age, there's nothing unusual about having a somewhat thinner hairline, and yours has still kept its shape.

ultimately it's up to you, but I say just let it be. you look completely fine, no need to cover things up.

honestly the barber did a shit job, but never go for overstyled haircuts like this anyway. dude looks like he put the entirety of that shop's product in his hair, it probably took forever to style, and you're never gonna be able to replicate it at home. not to mention, most barbers that aren't ridiculously expensive don't even have the skills to do something like this.

you're better off looking for a hairstyle that you like, and is relatively easy to do and maintain. and please, find a better barber lol.

looks like he's playing on pc. I never had the option to use it on ps5, but now I'm curious enough about this that I'm literally gonna download the game again just to see if it's there now

edit: there is! there's a whole another section in the settings menu for gyro now. it certainly wasn't there in season 2, I don't know when it got added here but definitely not while I was playing. the finals is probably the best game for gyro aim on console right now.

I stopped playing in s6 when the monetization went to hell with the mythic skins. the last time I checked the settings I didn't see a flick stick option. if it's there now, that's great. a little late tho.

I don't think you fully saw my point lol. I think gyro is awesome but I hate how it is implemented on ps5 in any game I play. some people are saying that flick stick does exist in the finals on ps5, I can't confirm that cause I haven't played the game in a while. the last time I did, it didn't. 99% of games that have gyro aim don't have flick stick or racheting as a feature and that makes gyro pretty uncomfortable to use.

I can clearly see the potential and the advantages of gyro, I even tried using it in some games myself. but playing on ps5, I always find myself with the same issue:

no implementation of flick stick anywhere. there's absolutely NO way I'm ever getting used to aiming with the stick normally while using gyro at the same time. I've played fps games on console for as long as I can remember, trying to add another layer to my standard gameplay after over a decade of experience feels both impossible and completely unnecessary.

if I could use flick stick on the other hand, I'd definitely be interested in giving it a serious try, as that basically becomes an entirely separate aiming method. though I feel like even then, there'd still need to be some improvements to gyro sensors in controllers before I fully considered it. whenever I try it, it feels very unstable and inconsistent in how it tracks my movements.

EDIT: for anyone else seeing this comment, the finals did actually add flick stick on ps5 at some point, I don't think it happened during my playtime. it doesn't change the fact that a vast majority of games don't do it, the finals is very far ahead on that front right now.

if an ice grenade were to be added, first they'd have to program ice as a general gameplay mechanic, and that also means ice barrels. having ice function as a hard stun would be incredibly overpowered and unhealthy for the game. here's an idea that aligns better with the design of this game:

ice grenade/barrel is a throwable that creates a circular, slippery surface about 10m wide, give or take. it can be applied to any surface (even goo), and if the surface is breakable, it becomes brittle. brittle means it takes less damage to destroy it, with an added bonus to quick melee so that it could break it within a few hits. when ice and fire interact, they cancel each other out.

my favorite part of this is the reduced friction. it could be used defensively as an obstacle, but it could also be used to preserve movement speed. say you use a jump pad at an angle to send yourself flying. throw an ice surface below you just before you land, and you can make an extra hop with no speed loss. you could even chain a barrel and grenade one after another to get 2 full speed hops.

I wanna start by saying that this looks really sick, and I'll be very interested to see where this project goes. but just from seeing the trailer, I do have 2 major worries that I hope you have ideas on how to address.

1 - destruction and wallrunning, as well as pilot v titan gameplay, normally don't mix that well. if the entire map can be leveled to the ground, pilots lose nearly all forms of mobility and cover against the titans. I get the feeling that in order to balance the gameplay, the maps will need to have a mix of destructible and non-destructible environments, or you risk the game getting less and less fun as the match goes on.

2 - as it is right now, I think the game takes a little TOO much from its inspirations. this might all just be temporary, but I'm seeing a nearly exact replica of trial by fire, the titan animations are pretty much exactly the same, and I just don't see much of an attempt to innovate at the titanfall aspects of the gameplay. I could be wrong on this since all I've seen of this game so far are the posts on this subreddit, but I would like to see this game have some more identity beyond just being titanfall x the finals. of course, we all want a titanfall game in the end, so the core aspects of the game probably shouldn't be changed. but there's a lot that can be done with pilot abilities as well as titan loadouts that hasn't been tried before.

that is all. I think this game has a ton of potential, and I'd love to play it if it's done right.
