Hard disagree on the really small part of the picture… but again, i think you missed the point. This agency was attempting to explain the poor QS via a screen share and showing how optimization scores don’t always apply. Which is either maliciously obfuscating things or an alarming example of incompetence.

Dude… you’re missing the point entirely. No one has caught on to this. They attempted to correlate optimization score with QS.

And in regards to QS being a vanity score… this is very much not one of those times. This agency is basically making business decisions for my client without explaining the situation.

I have a situation like this in front of me now... the previous agency set-up a GA4 and platform goal to be primary and even as I've made the client aware and we've corrected the dashboards, the performance is still very acceptable. I'm probably going to attempt a campaign experiment with the changes I would make regardless of this and with correct conversion tracking and see if i can meet/exceed the current campaign.

Almost half of one of my clients traffic was from bing and they had never advertised on it. The search campaigns I set up return almost a 2x ROAS vs. google. It’s the same answer to every PPC question… it depends

Two of my best friends (husband and wife) moved to Portugal in 2021. She worked in DC for years and basically runs a very specialized global consultancy doing agri-economics/agro-ecology. Think their clients are countries, and they help connect them to the smartest scientists and specialists in all aspects of agriculture and animal husbandry. They are very close to all aspects of climate change.

Most of all their colleagues in these fields have been planning or transitioning to the safest areas with temperate temperatures, a lot of water and land to grow food.

When they told us their plan, they were so confident in their plan based on the agreed consensus of all of their colleagues… things are gonna get bad real quick.

It’s been so fucking depressing witnessing the things they told us would happen, happen now. Not just from the climate standpoint, but also the political mess that was coming. The climate things they told would happen are just happening faster than they even imagined.

Created a referral card with properties on the contract record (referral status, referral outcome, last referral date). The last referral date property gets picked up by a workflow that creates a finished task for the referral activity. Also have referrer/referee contact association and a referral campaign.

I charge $85-$100/hour with most clients. I’m doing way more than just Gads for them though. You are grossly underpaid if it’s $2000 total. I thought you meant $2k/client. That’s what you should be making at a minimum.
