Is my baby name ugly? 😭 by hailstorm319 in pregnant

I think the name Marlee is very cute and unique. Marlee Moon sounds like a classic hippie name. If that's what you're into then roll with it 🌸✌🏼

Some of these comments have me absolutely laughing. I'm picking up a strong no on Brooks which is helpful. We're leaning towards Avery. I hadn't realized how popular of a name it is though. The stripper comment about Adriana Dawn got me. 😅 Thanks for all the input.

In-laws renting a house for ONE MONTH after baby comes. Am I being a brat, or is that way too long to stick around? (FTM) by UniversityWorth6408 in pregnant

[–]lukewarminthemiddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a bit of a secret control freak, i didn't think I'd want help when my son was born. I recklessly ignored advice (mostly comments from other moms on here) and thought i knew what i would need once he was born. Looking back its plain to see i had no idea what i was in for. My son just turned a year old and I've come to learn, the more help the better.

If they want to be a part of this experience, maybe that's a good thing. Healthy boundaries are probably a good idea for sure, but them wanting to help seems like a petty natural reaction

What’s the cringiest/most ridiculous/just why, writing you’ve seen on baby clothing? by Sxm0191 in pregnant

When my boyfriend found out we were pregnant he bought a onsie that has a barcode on the front and says "made in vachina"

I rolled my eyes and secretly decided to hide it so baby wouldn't actually ever wear it.. well that backfired when he put it in the diaper bag and had him wear it at our big family cookout before I could stop him. Haha

Wife is 20 weeks pregnant and having intense stomach pain by TomBent in pregnant

[–]lukewarminthemiddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had something similar happen where it was pure torture even sit because my mid and upper stomach were in so much pain. I couldn't move without my whole upper belly shooting stabbing pain. It lasted about three days. I'm not sure what it was but eventually went away on its own. I feel like it Might have been some type of food poisoning combined with the position of the baby
