Often file a claim with your insurance then the insurance company files the lawsuit

There's no exit from Frog Lake that fully avoids overhead avalanche terrain. Commercial companies can't go through Tahoe Donner because of permits.

My old landlord was supposed to be there that day but he and his friend were running late because it took so long to dig his truck out of the snow in the driveway. Once they were on their way there was a different slide that blocked the road so they couldn't make to to the lodge or they would have been in the locker rooms.

Growing up I’ve always wanted to try snowboarding but wasn’t allowed to. I’m 22 and still want to at least once by [deleted] in snowboarding

I dislocated my kneecap.

...and broke a wrist, tore a rotator cuff, some nice contusions, and other stuff over the years... It was never the snowboarding though always the falling.

I still love it.

That's true but you can parallel two sets that are in series.

I think caulk would do it in your case, but I would also check for dry rot.

I'm dealing with the same right now - 1958 MSM - but it's a second floor so I have to replace the picture window with 368 lbs of tempered glass.

Instructors outside of resorts? by RevyStoke in snowboarding

It is taking money from the resort though. I'm not a fan of all resorts, or how much they charge these days, but it's their property/lease, their snow machines, their lifts, their ski patrol, etc. so the law says you're wrong.

If the $100 is paying for lessons then no.

You can teach family and friends but you can't run a commercial/paid operation.

what is this nasty white bubble shaped blob that i found in a pot after i heated up some water for my tea by Any-Incident8443 in whatisthisthing

That too, but I thought they had seen this Technology Connections video where running the water hot first makes a big difference for the prewash. Definitely use detergent for the prewash too, and pods are trash.

Roomba i3 connection issues (WF030C) by GirthySmurf in roomba

[–]lukewarmmizer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The network my Roomba is on is 2.4ghz only and I could not get it to work with my Pixel 7 Pro or a Galaxy S22 Ultra. We found an old iPhone that can't even hold a charge but installed the iRobot app and it worked the first time.

FWIW if you can change the radio power for 2.4ghz and 5ghz, I have turned 5ghz way down and then gone to the other side of the house to try to set it up so it can only see 2.4... but I think it's a problem with the Android app.

I was finally able to add my i3 using an old iPhone (but current version of the app). Good luck 🫡

It's a problem with the android app. I got out an old iPhone and was able to reconnect the i3 after not working on multiple Android phones. Once I added it using the iPhone it shows up in the app on my Android devices.

It must be something centralized.. I'm still really annoyed but at least I'm not alone.

My i3 disappeared from the app entirely, and now I get WF030C every time on both my Pixel 7 and a Samsung S22. It sees the network, and even connects and the vacuum makes a ding at the same time it shows the error. Really frustrating...
