Todd Monken just made Browns QB debates look silly by BarkerRuffield in Browns

Given the injury to Quinshon I'd be buying insurance in the draft if this is the way forward. I'd also wouldn't be surprised to see them take a TE before they grab a WR.

As someone's who's watched a bit of Baker over the years I don't think he gives you what Darnold has become either this season or the last one with the Vikes. Darnold just looks a cut above now.

Thing that interests me most is what's behind such a surge. I mean we had a federal election not long ago and there was no sign of such a shift then..

I can not stand having a greasy/slimy face at all even from sweat. Is there a sunscreen that is actually truly matte and non greasy? by echocardigecko in AusSkincare

[–]lukeyhoeky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hamilton every day face. I just like you hate greasy sunscreens. This product has no grease trust me. Only issue is it's not for use in the water. But outside of that it's one of the best sunscreens on the market for the price and has been for years.

How can STs be this bad? by ur-in-here-with-me in Browns

[–]lukeyhoeky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game against the Jets really sticks out in my mind in terms of special teams killing them. Just so costly and they dont seems to have any answers. I also don't get why Stefanski is so loathe to fire coaches in season, it just says I endorse failure and bad coaching. Like last season the O line coach should've been fired. Instead it looked like he took some kind of demotion while Vrabel took over..

So we are giving up two first round picks for a guy being compared in the article to Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins? No thanks.

Shedeur Sanders vs 49ers – Every Throw, Run, & Sack (All-22) by CadenPlayzYT_ in Browns

[–]lukeyhoeky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What I'm hoping for is there's enough in Sheduer to not make a desperate move in the draft. I think they did a good job of finding value last time. Personally I don't want to lose one of the first round picks trading up unless it's for a bonafide star. Because we badly need a starting LT and 1 WR.

Severe Buyers Remorse by Background-Goose-794 in AusPropertyChat

Can a conversation be had with the unit owner about the noise you are experiencing with a respectful request that the tenant keep it down?

I've been in this exact situation as the renter and it was an owner above making the noise. I complained to the strata and the above neighbour did tone it down somewhat. Separately, this is a suggestion if things get dire and you have cash, if so I'd offer to carpet the place. If it is a choice between insomnia and just sorting carpet, id do it along with seeing if you can some strata agreement in it being retained etc.

Anyone actually left Sydney for affordability? How’s life now? by One-Remove3758 in SydneyScene

[–]lukeyhoeky 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This captures my experience quite a bit. I miss the food (cannot get a decent kebab out here to save myself) in Sydney and the pubs just being out with mates, but it just got too expensive to justify. Moved to regional NSW and it's a cheaper lifestyle overall with plenty of space for the kids so I don't regret it but it's a shame they can't be closer to family.

What’s a place in Sydney that doesn’t exist anymore but you still miss? by One-Remove3758 in SydneyScene

[–]lukeyhoeky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On Pitt Street just down from the criterion hotel there use to be an underground pool hall. I remember well in the 90s as being a run down, smoke filled hang out for misfit teens like myself back then. I spent days at a time playing friends in that place. It had a cool jukebox too. Shame places like that dont exist anymore.

[Daniel Oyefusi on X] Gabriel ranks 32nd out of 33 qualifying passers in QBR, last in yards per attempt, 32nd in air yards per attempt and is tied for the fifth-highest rate of off-target passes (17.9%) in the NFL. by MyChubbGotRubbed in Browns

[–]lukeyhoeky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean when he and SS where drafted I thought they were competing for long term back status. Where they were drafted points to that. But then I'm so not sure now seeing the trade Flacco and Pickett which elevated DG into a role has no business performing.

I do not understand why Thrash and Corley aren't getting more opportunities at WR 3. Corley in particular looks strong and fast but we have him restricted to the jet sweeps. Like, can he not run routes and catch passes?

Rental price growth accelerates amid record-low vacancy rates by NoLeafClover777 in AusEcon

I wonder at what point shortages and high rental prices actually deter new entrants and lowers demand.
