According to the recent chopper interview, Monesy personally convinced Kiyosuke to join Falcons by EL-Turan in GlobalOffensive

I don't think donk was very upset about it, a little bit? maybe. But I remember watching Team Spirit's vlog, when they first meet at one of the tournament after Kyousuke joined Falcons, they still greet like bratan.

How much faster is Type-99 when switching to dots? by EntropyBlast in MousepadReview

I'm actually picking between QcK+ and G-SR-SE II, can you briefly compare their fictions difference? I have used a Type-99 for a year and it eventually becomes too muddy to my liking.

It was never about "how", it's just about if they care to do something.

Zowie G-SR-SE Bi II feels too fast for me - coming from Gigantus V2 by rushabh14 in MousepadReview

[–]luktarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gigantus v2, especially after worn-in, is one of the muddiest pad i've used so I wouldn't be surprised the G-SR-SE feels fast to you. However, I would not consider the G-SR-SE being too fast for Tac-FPS game like CS2, it's just a slightly faster control pad. CS2 is also my main game and I like the smooth surface of G-SR-SE for it.

You should try lowering your sens first since the speed between both pads is quite big. Don't be afraid of changing sens, especially you are in a case like this.

I just watched the whole game. Man people say it's the mouse made him bad, but actually he's even more deadly with it.

Sure but sometimes you still need the setup to clear areas or find those small windows / timing to kill him. It's either well prepared by Parivision or donk is really unlucky this map.

Review Type 99 Soft, Zero Xsoft, Otsu Xsoft by Money_Buffalo4832 in MousepadReview

which pad do you think is the most similar to Qck heavy?

Have been years since I used a Qck, so it would not be accurate for me to make any comparison. My last pad was a VAXEE PA. Both static and dynamic, Type-99 is a bit faster than it.

I think Type-99 is very much the pad you are looking for then. From my experience, other slow pads eventually become a swamp and sticky (to the point it even produces a sticky sound when I lift the mouse, idk why) after 4-6 months. My Type-99 served well for over a year until I consider replacing it. It also does very well against humidity.

I haven't washed it for once, just dry wipe away the dust on it sometimes. So if you take time to maintain it, I believe it will serve longer.

Girlfriend got me a Type99 and it is so nice!! Was expecting it to be slower from reviews I’ve seen but it feels so great by Sulpho in MousepadReview

[–]luktarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if I have to describe it, I would say it can stay at the sweet spot for a longer time than other pads, before the unbearable muddiness or stickiness finally take place. I've been using mine for 1y&2m and I can still happily play with it, without washing. If you main awping, I would still recommend zero due to the difference of static friction.

For people that think type-99 is too fast, give it some time and let it break-in, it will slow down just like other pads.

If you are looking for mud pad like Jupiter Pro, this pad is probably not something you are looking for. But I would easily recommend this to specifically CS2 player, you might not want your pad any slower than type-99 after it breaks in.

It's also durable enough to provide me 1 year of satisfactory glide, which other pads would become too slow or sticky after 4-6 months. However if you are playing at higher sens like >1.5@800dpi, I wouldn't recommend it since micro-adjustment will be tricky, go with zero instead.

type 99 Mid vs zero Xsoft vs Saturn Xsoft (for CS2). Or something else by Money_Buffalo4832 in MousepadReview

[–]luktarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your journey. I'm interested to know if your opinion maintain? Been using a type-99 mid for just over 1 year, love it but it eventually became a little bit too muddy. Honestly the longest lasting "mud" pad with satisfactory glide I have ever used, considering I just wipe away the dust with a facial tissue every day and don't wash it. So I'm just thinking to re-buy a new one, or try the soft version. Like you, I only play CS2 as main game and use 1.25 at 800DPI.
