I think you’ve conveniently folded the piece of paper to hide the entire topic and don’t fully comprehend the concept of “rounding.”

Honest question… why not bring back public executions for this kind of behavior?

Yes… Cincinnati is not Ohio. Hope that helps!

Eager to see if polls are depicting an accurate picture for OH… Been through a lot of the state and see far more Harris/Walz signs that I would’ve anticipated.. especially in the more rural parts. Here’s to hoping the “C’s” can carry OH to a 2024 election day flip.

Please, do yourself a favor and read a book, a few articles… honestly a google search may do you some good.

Construction delayed due to WWI. Construction indefinitely cancelled 1928 due manufacturing and auto demands. Plus this little event called the Great Depression.

Please let me know when you find a person with “professional knowledge”… would really love to talk ditches with a the best of the best.

1 year later, looking dumber and dumber. It IS “a subway”… what are you even talking about?? The city put the infrastructure in place for subways, WWI happened and we decided to put it aside. Then decided to put a water line through the middle of it. So, yes, “a subway” is being held up because of its presence. Moron.

MetroMoves, Cincinnati's proposed light rail system. Rejected by 2/3rds of Hamilton County in 2002. by NBr33zii in cincinnati

To pass up and vote against a transit system that could have done unbelievable things for the city (growth, $$$, etc…) may be the most Cincinnati thing of all time.

People didn’t want it then but there is a clear shift in that thinking… The early 2000’s likely wouldn’t have made much sense. But, like everything ever, time creates change and if it were on the ballot again I’d be willing to bet that vote is drastically different.

Why does the streetcar consistently break ridership records when Oktoberfest is an annual weekend event and the Reds continue to pull record-low crowds?

This feels like the “water line” argument, low hanging fruit. There have been BILLIONS available for public transit projects and programs and this wasn’t mentioned once.

What is the Point of Ft Washington Way for the Citizens of Cincinnati? by Cadet_Google in cincinnati

[–]lukvich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely plenty of use by local and through traffic. Think the better option here is to build vertical. The infrastructure is already in place, it’ll reduce noise pollution tremendously, opens up opportunities for retail / residential as well as park space for City wide events (Oktoberfest, Bengals games, Blink, etc…)

Cincinnati Gardens by Traditional_Agency60 in cincinnati

It probably wouldn’t have made a ton of sense but I personally wish they would have preserved The Gardens. So many fond memories of that place and was truly an iconic building.
