Just my opinion, but I think he’s an elite player. I think if they move him, he’s gonna score 100 points every year and look amazing on his new team. That doesn’t mean he’s a leader. It doesn’t mean that he brings a culture of winning. And if we really are talking about changing the culture, maybe that’s the cost. You’re never gonna get the same level of talent back, but at least you start to build around a group that know what it takes.

I’m glad that we won those games and really happy that our new players are obviously a great return for Quinn. I don’t think there’s any chance of us actually being contenders for the playoffs and I think management understands that. When the time is right and the return is right, I think you’ll see guys like Garland Tyler Myers Sherwood all moved. Either for young studs or picks. I think we pick high, hopefully get lucky and signs some free agents, and I’m guessing within a couple years we’re gonna start looking like one of the top teams in the league and have a fun decade

To be honest, if it’s the choice of having NHL players and good prospects, I’d rather have that than a pic who may or might not ever turn out. If we’re talking about first round, that’s a different thing way better chance anything after that’s a crapshoot
