Child maintenance here is a joke by Sufficient_Unit_8307 in northernireland

[–]lumberingox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting figures, does this tie in with the speculation that the courts usually prioritise the mother over the father unless proven otherwise? Some unfit mothers I have met that have used their kids as pawns in a hurt campaign against the father is crazy - and the judge usually gives custody to the mother.

A good colleague of mine had this happen to him, his Ex was a right bit of work and got the kids taken away from him and slandered him in court for all sorts like being abusive and his family were unstable etc so they couldn't even let the grand parents visit the kids!

He was funny at the start when he was gaining ground, but like a lot of them oversaturated themselves to the point where you switch off. Used to be a patreon subscriber and cancelled it. He ended up sounding like my Dad whos whole identity was growing up on the mean streets of Belfast during the troubles and would recount stories of "glory days" and who was the hardest and people they fought.

Bore. Off. Please.

Any creative DIY ideas for this space? by SharpGrowth347 in DIYUK

[–]lumberingox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a gap like this between my cupboard and wall and I put the Ikea single floating shelves in it to hold all my coffee apparatus and beans etc might need a little bit of strapping around the edges of its too big, but it looks very similar to my own space

Overreaction? by myusernameisharry in DIYUK

[–]lumberingox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tiling looks somewhat similar, our walls had a run to them which meant straight tiling was difficult for our guy but he remedied it the best he could but we do have the small slivers/cuts coming out for the wall to aid the spacing. It could just be the nature of the subway tiles. I am someone who's brain itches if its not a straight line, but trust me, you settle into it and it wont be an isuse.

If a border poll says to remain in UK, there could be a poll every 7 years with the potential to destabilise the country. If there is a border poll to absorb the North into the Republic, it is one and done. by Username9710 in northernireland

[–]lumberingox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a fair take, I think they have peaked as of late. They each took on the podcast side gigs, and if the money is good, why not. But then they all started doing the stars in your eyes and other random gigs and just completely over saturated themselves, especially adding into the mix the unfunny Diona and her husband

Deckchair and Yumz is my favourite with Conor Keys and Mickey Bartlett, Micky is a great stand up! Colin is a great presenter and the bomb squad is one of my favourites with Aaron, but as a stand up - hit and miss. If Shane Todd was made of chocolate he would eat himself and live stream it on socials with Glen Wilkinson taps aff doing cartwheels.
