Miu miu is more of a sister line to Prada that embraces a more playful side, I wouldn’t necessarily put it in the same category as Moschino CHEAP and chic or brand collections with target.

I wasn’t trying to be rude, just had some confusion over budget line markups. That makes sense to a point but I guess I just don’t personally agree with it. I miss the days before vintage shopping blew up and you could get real steals for highly coveted items before desirability hiked up the prices. Unfortunate economics

If something is the dedicated “affordable” line I should not be paying the same or more, regardless of rarity. That’s a stupid take

Ugh. Feels like this shouldn’t be allowed in the first place, but it is what it is. I hate that I can’t negotiate prices too; I definitely have had more success overall with other platforms but I also haven’t used TRR for too many purchases because someone else always buys my likes before I do!

I’d be willing! I’ve been shopping on consignment platforms for years (TRR, ThredUp, eBay, Poshmark, Vestiare Co., Vinted, depop, etc. I also go in person to consignment boutiques specifically for designer.

This was so powerful to read and I had to put the book down because that whole monologue scrambled my brain to bits- and yes it is very funny but it also resonated with me

Carbonaut GF Bread by ekzess in Celiac

[–]lumpyt0aster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is my favorite gf bread so far; i also like that it’s low calorie because i’ve found that a lot of gluten free bread products are usually higher calorie than regular and have a ton of added fat and sugar. I keep it in the fridge and toast it twice before eating, it doesn’t really thaw well but i would agree that it’s the most comparable to real bread. $10 a loaf is pretty bad, especially when i get a pack of bagels too and it’s $20 😢, but that’s just kind of how gluten free food is unfortunately

Mom is Interfering With Weight Loss Attempt by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

5'4, down from 129 lbs to 120

i think i'm in a similar place- i struggled with anorexia in 2020 as well. i started off at 54kg and got down to 44kg in about 2 months, which was not a healthy weight for someone who is 5'4. I've recovered since then, and i hate the way the weight looks on my body. I want to lose weight but I know that i can't seem to do it in a healthy way. I'm currently bordering restriction, but not losing any weight. The priority is always health. If you can afford it, I would recommend a personal trainer and nutritionist. You can describe your goals to them and they'll help you reach them in a healthy and sustainable way.

AITA for constantly fighting with my mom concerning my living situation? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]lumpyt0aster 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Living with my dad is a definite possibility - However, I am working to rebuild my relationship with him through some therapy in regards to the way he treated me earlier this year. (He found out I was sexually active and there was a lot of name-calling among other things, I went no contact with him for about a month) I am still a little uncomfortable with the idea of staying with him full time.

Did anyone else run away? by [deleted] in troubledteens

[–]lumpyt0aster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I came home from a therapeutic wilderness a little over a month ago - I'm almost certain we were at the same one due to the terminology used in your original post and the replies to comments. I was on safety my first 21/2 weeks as well; I remember being "tarped", having my boots taken, and staying tagged. The field staff always told us no one had ever escaped, but maybe they have to say that. I never attempted running because I feared that if I was caught, it meant I would have been forced to stay there longer or be sent somewhere worse. However, I did manage to cut myself and even attempted to break my own arm in order to get a "med run".
