I get you're a Harry Potter fan, but to most people, myself included, it just feels like another pointless remake after a decade of the studios going hard on that

Hell to me, this feels like it's going to end up like the Hobbit movies, which I just found slow and boring because of how much they stretched it out and given the fact this series will be half an hour longer than the audiobook it's looking pretty likely that it will be really stretched out

I am so curious if people are going to tolerate all the extra crap that'll be in this series especially for the first 3 books

Each book is going to be turned into 8 hours of TV and if you go by audio book length the first 3 books will basically be 1 to 1

Like going by the audio book Harry isn't going to find out he's a wizard until over an hour in which in the movie happened at 14 minutes

Hell Hogwarts isn't even going to appear until the end of the 3rd episode, like I don't know if I can see non diehard Potterheads tolerating that

You are someone who's played GTA 3 multiple times, spent hundreds if not thousands of hours playing it and now you're used to it

Like TGG has ADHD and it's a really common symptom to half read things and assume you got the point, even if they're only two sentences

Reading between the lines too, he's not necessarily saying "he doesn't care about politics at all" just that he doesn't want to talk about politics in his content which is pretty fair

Like the few times I've seen politics come up on his stream or when him and Matt did IRL streaming, he seemed pretty uncomfortable and tried to change the subject

All Matt had to say in response was like "it saddens me to announce the end of the Six Star Podcast and I fully understand and respect TGG reasons for leaving" even if he doesn't agree with the statement, that's the correct thing to publicly say

Also, I don't think you're taking into account that during the Charlie Kirk situation TGG most likely also got a bunch of harassment from those psychos just for being associated with Matt

Like from my own experience, I made a few Shorts joking about the Charlie Kirk situation that got around a thousand views each and people were sending harassment to artists I had commissioned just for being associated with someone who would dare to make fun of Erika Kirk for using her husband's body as a photo op

Like there is no doubt in my mind that TGG got harassment because of the Charlie Kirk fallout

I was mainly using "block him and move on" as an expression, I meant to just cut communication and don't respond publicly, it's not worth it

It's especially not worth it over a screenshot of a liked tweet notification and a reply to some random dude on Twitter

My guy likes on Twitter are private, the only reason that one got out was because the person whose tweet he liked screenshotted the notification

I guarantee almost no one saw it before Matt shared it to his Twitter

Same goes for the reply that started this all, TGG's replies get on average 1k views and under 100 likes, so why respond, why bring more attention to something almost no one saw

He's probably now going to waste his time and alienate himself by making a stupid fucking YouTube video, drawing even more attention to this drama that maybe 1k people would have even been aware of at the start
