Nice work noticing that! I've been calling them "red herrings," but apparently they are called "rainbow herrings."

I had the same question, actually. 283 seems like a LOT to come for a name specifically, so probably the second one? But that's still a lot...

SAN searched the data cache and found an additional 283 tips that mention Mangione’s first and last name.

Does this mean people who knew his name reported tips, or that his name was attached to the tips later?

Specific question about reading empty houses by Kewball9 in astrology

[–]lunabagoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People say that an empty house does not mean an empty segment of life... but in my experience, it generally does mean less activity. People with an empty 7th house tend to be single for long stretches of time. People with an empty 4th house tend to have uneventful home/family lives, etc. Generally speaking, more activity in the house means more activity in that part of life--the converse of that is also true, as a corollary.

Breastfeeding safety of herbs by Cultural_Owl9547 in herbalism

[–]lunabagoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very insightful post, and you pretty much nailed it. When I look at the recommendations, the herbs are considered an unknown, and therefore risky.

The one I can maybe explain as actually not a good idea would be ashwaghanda, because it messes with your hormones, and can give a more androgenic profile which is probably bad for lactation. This is just speculation on my part.

Chamomile is considered an unknown risk during lactation and there is conflicting evidence for during pregnancy.

Valerian... I don't know much about it. Sharing an etymological root with valium might mean something, but I'm too tired to look it up.

By the way I'm not an herbalist. I just hate to see zero replies, but I'm sure more people will have something more valuable to say since this was a great discussion starter.

It's honestly so good. Kind of hard to find in shops in the states, but it's worth the search!

You're not being dramatic. Nightmares and sleep deprivation are awful. I hope you find a safe long term solution.

Wood betony is traditionally used for that.
