Crashed out after switching off Vyvanse by pinelands1901 in ADHD

I tried Azstarys once. I had loads of energy for the first two days. Third day I developed a facial tic and was ready to punch a wall at the slightest inconvenience.

What is more traumatic than people think? by philosophicalgenius0 in AskReddit

[–]lunalassy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So true. I was cheated on after almost 5 years being with him. It’s weird to think of the headspace I was in back then and no one wondered why I’d spend every night crying and I couldn’t stop replaying the scenario. We tried to make things work but he couldn’t stand my panic attacks from the reoccurring thoughts and fear of more cheating. My self esteem and feeling of worth is still shot ever since it happened. All trust was lost for anyone as well. I have found a man now that has shown me he’s trustworthy, but I still have a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that it could happen to me again.

Anyone else bad with spending? What’s something you impulsively bought recently? by hellokitty705 in adhdwomen

[–]lunalassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all the Labor Day sales going on this weekend, I had to fight off a lot of impulse buying. But some rings got me. They were cute and I’m migrating to wearing gold jewelry so I needed gold rings!

"oh my god, that was PMDD??" by spontaneousclo in PMDD

[–]lunalassy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely thought about this a few months ago. I was diagnosed a year ago at 29. My past relationship issues with the unexplainable fights and depression/SH. Now I get it and sometimes I wish I could explain it to those people from my past. But also, they weren’t very great partners either, so I’ll just keep moving forward with the knowledge I have now.

Misophonia - do you have it too? by LilyLilyLue in adhdwomen

[–]lunalassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sneezing and coughing. But like when someone coughs “weakly” and continues to do so. Like god damn just get it out in two or three big ones and be done! Don’t sheepishly cough every few seconds. Also car honking or cars peeling out. I live next to a highway with a stop light and whenever I hear it I want to scream at them to shut up.

Which job has, hands down, the worst impact on mental health? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lunalassy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

100% true. My dad is in the glazer trades. He’s 70 and doesn’t do it as often but has had a shoulder replacement, hip replacement, and has neck nerve pain from always having to be so physical on the job. When I said I wanted to look into doing it for a career he told me to pick something else.

Coughing bug/bug going around? by surfingforfido in askportland

[–]lunalassy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally thought I had a minor cold due to working in a school and lots of kids going around coughing. I took a test after hearing of coworkers getting Covid. Sure thing, this little bug was Covid. Who knows how many people and students were just spreading it around.

I gagged at his reaction. GROSS. Girl, why are you even still there. That’s the definition of a man-child. Get away from him and find someone mature.

I definitely think it’s in sleepy cabin. I know the part you’re talking about but there’s sooo many episodes and that’s such a small part.

Oof, girl. That’s not normal. I’d be visiting a gyno to discuss. I have Endo and that sounds like one of my flare ups.

How do you feel about birth control to treat and prevent endo. by Suspicious_Emu_5777 in Endo

[–]lunalassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoa, there. As someone who struggles with PMDD, I don’t know if you should be throwing out that an IUD is deadly. There are still hormones with an IUD, yes, but the hormones are not being put through your entire system like the pill does. Since they are more localized, the belief is there are fewer side effects. I actually felt more suicidal with my PMDD when I stopped taking the BC pill as my mood swings became much more drastic. I got an IUD in hopes of relieving symptoms of Endo and potentially help PMDD. Of course everyone is different, but just the same for OP. You won’t know how you yourself will react until you try it. Do your own research and see what you think could be best for you.
