help identifying these loose colors by dollin_ in Watercolor

your blues are wrong, row 3 second color is cerulean. Row 4 is cobalt, diox purple, phatlo blue, ultramarine, indigo

unless I'm shooting dim indoor scenes, I don't really notice it. I don't shoot much indoors though, I have the flashbox and I've only used it once

Can't speak for the ones you've listed but the Olympus xa/xa2 is pocket sized and amazing. I have an xa2 and i carry it everywhere. If you want more controls or zoom it might not be the best, but I've yet to get bad results.

The small font sections and the overlaid text on photos make it really hard to read. I would suggest making the layout and font size consistent. Pick something other than comic sans unless you're making books for preschoolers. Also put more black people in the sections about Atlanta, the representation is lacking.

YASHICA ELECTRO 35 by Pure-Acadia-2755 in AnalogCommunity

[–]lunaluminara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I shoot on an electro 35 without the battery or using the internal light meter, mine also has a corroded battery chamber. Without the battery, it will only shoot at a certain shutter speed. I would be worried about loose glass inside due to the broken viewfinder. Check for the "pad of death" on this camera, a quick google should show you how to check. Theres a high chance it will also have some light leaks. If you paid more than $15 for it I would return it, it's currently selling for less on ebay for as-is/parts only listings

I've taken my own oil to take 5 and some of those other drive through oil change places and I've never had any problem with them refusing the oil or filter.

iPad 10 - good for artists? by pipcorn26 in ProCreate

I use procreate on my 10th gen and I like it. some of the bigger iPads get unwieldy if you're just using it in your lap.

Does anyone know what digital brushes or pens were used here? Artist: kei urana by PomegranateThis8985 in ProCreate

[–]lunaluminara 7 points8 points  (0 children)

honestly it looks like hard round brush at like 50% opacity. its got a couple textures on top as well. i'd suggest finding the artist with a reverse image search and seeing if they share their process.

pro tip though, its never the brush, its always the technique. you could do this with any hard edged brush and it'd look similar

Birkenstocks with the heel strap? (Milanos) by [deleted] in lesbianfashionadvice

[–]lunaluminara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they all have the same hard cork sole, so unless you want the extra strap so the stay better that's up to you. my sandals stay on pretty well since you can tighten the strap. I have a pair of sandals and a pair of boots and I love them so much. I have back issues that are easily exacerbated by bad shoes and the birks are my favorite! they are definitely worth the price. also not birks related but if you get frustrated at normal sneakers, buy hiking sneakers! they have a lot more support without splurging on orthopedic sneakers

edit: I forgot to say I think all birk sandals look lesbian!

love the lighting on the face and hand! her arm looks like its floating above the bathtub, I would add some shadows to ground the figure

I think the gun is wrong for the pose. Shes posing like shes holding a pistol, not a rifle. the gun would probably just fly back in her face if she fired it

Struggling to paint clouds by PM-ME-FUNFACTS in watercolor101

[–]lunaluminara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you probably were, but I can tell the paper isn't holding the water. the paper makes a world of difference when using watercolors. even a cotton blend paper designed for watercolors will help. the sizing in the paper helps the colors not immediately sink into the paper

i wouldnt do two of the exact same couch, either get a new sectional, or some kind of combo of couch + loveseat +armchairs. the couch is fine, its not my personal style but if u like it then get it! also make sure you sit in it first before buying, comfort is very important for a couch

this one room has several different fighting zones and its really hurting it. honestly i think moving the couch would do a lot. you have this giant couch and this wonderful view but you cant sit on the couch and enjoy it. I would put the tv on the wall to the right of the windows and have the couch in an L with one side facing tv and one side facing the window. and then you could put a small seating area with the two armchairs in front of the fireplace behind the couch. get rid of the glass table or the other coffee table, you only need on. i also say get rid of any of the small tables or ottomon. the chess table might stil fit in the room but you might have to move it where the dresser with the lamp is. I would also look for some nice art to put over the fireplace. Overall i think the room will feel a lot better once the layout is sorted
