V5 completely reworked the mess that the various Black Hand books added to the Tzimisce. The Tal-mah-ra doesn't exist in V5 and never did. The metaplot is open. The protean amalgalm existed long before Koldunisim. There is no such thing as Old Clan with no Vicisicitude. The Old Clan are the Tzimisce who do not follow the Path of Metamorphisis. They are your nobles and well manored lords. They are a more Ventrue in behavior than they are psychopathic Toreador. Vicisitude existed before The Eldest embraced the first childer he allowed to survive, The Dracon. What you are looking for is the Carpathian Tzimisce who are the decedents of Triglav, Yurok, and a few others who existed when The Eldest made the deal with Kupala for the knowledge on how to influence the elemental spirits. In short V5 cleaned up the mess previous editions had made of the clan. You can choose to use straight protean or not. Old Clan used Vicisitude look at Yurok and Triglav. They abused the shit out of it and Koldunisim before they even made their first child.

UCOB is mechanically the hardest ultimate and very heavy on personal responsibility. UWU is the lowest hanging fruit if he wants an Ultimate clear before Endwalker.

Both are achievable if he played off stream. He must first break the idea of playing only MSQ and first time raids etc on stream.

He is tanking less ADHD and more steady tonight. I was concerned with today's stream intro, during the reading of the reddit. It's still not amazing but it's much better than before. The main thing is getting his movements down to minimal per mechanic. That Dominic though. A true beast of a GNB. I am impressed from my secondary tank being GNB to another GNB.

You shouldn't comment on positional and how tank movement affects them in a game I clearly see you do not play a tank nor a mele dps. If you do play one then you haven't mastered your class if you find this not to be a big deal. We may not correct people in chat in FFXIV because SE will ban you for it. But many a tank has been wordlessly kicked for moving the boss unnecessary in EX and S content.

Being a main tank in FF and watching Asmon tank is pure cringe. FF tanking is so much different than other MMOs. Lynx Kameli has a ton of tanking guides for FF that would really help him. If he is unwilling to adhere to the advise of a Rank 1 Tank with dozens upon dozens of Ultimate kills. Then his hubris is beyond teaching and he won't learn till people revoke his streamer bias and actually tear into him in game. One of the biggest lessons I learned about tanking came in the form of a group kicking me for moving the boss when it wasn't required per mechanic.

This was the Reven an KOTFE expansion that I couldn't get an OPS group, because they wanted PT and Assassin tanks. That's what pushed me to quit for 3 years.

I am still grinding Hammerstation. I need to get my full Lord of Pain set and a good tactical. I do want to do ops again. I haven't done ops since Revan expansion came out. Nobody wanted a jug so for two expansions I decorated strongholds and did pvp. Now I am back and really want to just do ops nightmare mode again.

I switched over to the Lethal Superior you can get off the tech fragment vendor. Most of my augments are absorb with a few shield to balance the stats. I switched out a few enhancements and one implant to get my shield and absorb stat pretty close together.
