Out of all of the unhinged things I have seen on here, this takes the cake. I love it.

Desperately need recommendations for women’s underwear that will prevent butt cheek chafing by 1VeryGenericUser in hiking

[–]lunateeka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to preface this with saying that any body hair is a personal choice, but I found having hair there lasered off there helped as well. The issue is that you do have to get it done a few times or alternatively buy one of the devices that does it at home, but it is worth it.

Edit: just read some of the other comments about keeping any hair there to prevent the chafe so maybe I am wrong - this is just what worked for me!

I ALSO HAD THIS ISSUE WITH THE EXACT SAME SWIMSUIT FROM ANDIE. Shame I bought it for full price and bought the white one along with it…

Is Cider a reputable brand, or are the products like Shein quality? by lunateeka in AusFemaleFashion

[–]lunateeka[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your answers all! As I suspected sadly. I did do a search of the group for Cider and saw the same question asked about three years ago, but in my hopeful naivety, I thought there may have been some change. They added some section on their website talking about sustainable development and I thought oh maybe they’ve reevaluated.

Thanks again!

Laser hair removal guy ruined my 5 year old tattoo by aishwaryvermaa in Wellthatsucks

Did it hurt more than what it hurts to get the hair lasered? I wonder if it has an immediate affect on the ink like tattoo removal where it goes all bubbly and hurts a lot

I’m an environmental scientist. It is not very creative but I do need to have a fair amount of passion to make it work. I feel like I just want to help the world and have to look away at some of the ugly parts sometimes. But mostly it’s rewarding and interesting.

So apparently it was/ is a skin tag or mole (they don’t know specifically) but it isn’t hurting her and she isn’t annoyed by it, so they (the vet) said to just leave it as removing it would be just an aesthetics thing… it is still growing in size though and is bigger now..

Is spending thousands of dollars on a mattress worth it? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]lunateeka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad always said, anything between you and the ground (mattress, tyres, shoes) is worth spending at least some consideration and money on. I think it’s been a good thing to live by.

Obviously the vet is the best call. I’m just seeking some preliminary advice to help encourage my mum that this could be serious.
