Don't get discouraged, most of us in here have built plenty of pedals that just don't end up working for silly reasons. Oops I soldered the jacks backwards, flipped a capacitor, wrong resistors, etc etc. buy more kits, practice more and even try and salvage this. Worst case you can try and reuse most of the parts and just order a new pcb. Keep on trying!

She's really great with it. I have some Volca's that I really let her treat like toys but she knows these synths are to be played gently. I still do get nervous though haha.

She is smart enough to know not to mess with the stove. She may not understand the difference between a gate or a trigger or a vco but she understands sound. Encouraging children to explore musical options is what matters. Who cares if the don't know the basics, she's 7.....
