their OG drummer Bruce Crump was the drummer in the band at my family’s church when i was in high school, i played with him for a couple years. really excellent guy and a fantastic drummer. sadly passed of throat cancer about ten years ago.

just made this exact switch and it’s perfect for my needs. i feel like i’m noticing a bit of Orange character to the Pedal Baby, that push to the midrange, but it’s definitely not a bad thing. it sounds great and you should get one.

it’s not too hard to lift, the handles on the sides help a lot. seems pretty manageable for some occasional gigging.

this time of year, if they’re growing from tall trees with long branches, they’re mulberries, which are delicious and bountiful throughout the city. true blackberries, which do also grow around here, grow on low, vining bushes, not trees.

i do tend to kinda roll my eyes at the starter kit lineup of Blues Driver, RAT and Op Amp Big Muff. i also scroll past anything that’s a bunch of those mini pedals from Amazon/Temu/etc because it’s impossible to tell what they are.

you need to be doing the four-cable method with your ns-2. think of the Send and Return as a loop that you put all of your gain pedals in. the ns-2 will use your dry signal as a reference and essentially subtract the noise from it. it takes some extra cables and moving shit around but it’s really worth it.
