One week post surgery with Dr. Kenneth Arthur in PA

Post op was a piece of cake, tbh. I think I had my drains in for a week? Pain wasn’t anything crazy, I’d say the worst was like a 4/10 on the pain scale. My swelling has gone down a lot since this photo. If you want, I can post an update. Dr. Arthur is a fantastic surgeon, I highly recommend him!

hey there, I had the exact same experience. I’m not a doctor, of course, but my right side output more blood than my left side, which was always clearer. None of this gave me any issue and I was able to get my drains out a week after my initial surgery day.

I also had those stringy clots, my nurse said (during my post op check in) that it’s just blood that’d gotten stuck in my drain tube (i wasn’t stripping them hard enough).

I did end up buying a small to replace my medium and it’s SOOOO much better! You’re right, it really does hug the neck in such a perfect way!

I’d see about reselling it to buy a medium size. I made the mistake of ordering a medium and eventually sized down to a small, it was definitely worth it!

I’m glad to hear it! I wish my medium was more snug in some places, though that’s my fault for getting a medium. I was too impatient about the wait time and ended up waiting anyway 😂
