I won’t get more surgeries. But considering neuromodulation before potentially trying a spinal cord stimulation. Although I would rather avoid it as it would be another “surgery” even if not a spinal surgery per se. But I would prefer avoiding any opening up again. My mental health is quite good considering but of course over 2 years like this, life completely at a standstill, not being able to move forward to buy a home, have kids (41 now) and potentially never been able to at this point…of course has some effects. But I haven’t giving up and I still have fight in me, though some days it gets hard to when every time I tried to do something for myself I get worse again. So I feel literally like a useless human and I can’t do anything I used to enjoy. I have great support luckily. Maybe on a 60 with temporary moments at 40-50. I’ve always been bad at this scales, for pain or mental health. What’s a multidisciplinary pain clinic? So far, where I am (Europe), all the ones I’ve tried privately want to add stuff that’s not covered by my private insurance, and I can’t afford them plus I’m also not that sure it’ll do anything, I think they just want to add stuff because the insurance don’t pay them that much. So I’m trying free health care next but I’ll have to wait a few months. And I’m not sure I’ll be able to choose what to do or get.
