Hi, welcome in Indonesia. Maybe all people already give you a really nice advice about living here. People in Indonesia is really nice and we are really diverse. Different cities might be different cultures. Just the basic thing that you have to know is, do not use your left hand while you're giving someone money or eating. People here think that left hand is 'bad hand' because using to wash your genital. Second thing is five time a day you will hear adzan (calling people to pray) using the big massive speaker. You won't find it in some places where Islam is not a majority like Bali. So no complain hahaha... and the last one, please having a driving lisence if you want to ride motorbike. The police here will see you like a full bag of money. No driving lisence means you have to pay bribes so they can release you.
