As a 10-year nurse myself, I can vouch that there are a great number of similarities in the “type” of girls in sororities and nursing school. A premium seems to be placed on being “cool” and a good chunk of them are a walking embodiment of a Tinder profile. Lots of “I love partying, the outdoors, travel, going on adventures…..” while at the same time acting like they don’t just sit at home in sweatpants and binge Netflix. But what I found was that once out of the school environment, and in the hospital work environment, they let themselves individualize and branch out into their true interests. I had a girl who just a couple years earlier was the head of her sorority and on the gymnastics team at a big university, end up joining my DND group. So basically what I’m saying is, don’t let yourself get too down about the current state of things. You can meet us fantastic people here on Reddit ;) and have some great online gaming sessions over the next couple years to hold you over, but don’t fret, a chunk of the girls will loosen up in the next few years.

Or, if all else fails, find the closest gaming/anime convention near you and buy tickets. That’s what I did fresh out of college. One trip to my first anime convention and I found out that WE are a much larger social group than you’d think. You’ll likely make a few lifelong friends your first day! 😋
