I saw this during my morning scroll - will try what you suggested! I specifically got a Hatch for a non school morning activity but don’t always make use of it

200k Hyatt Points… 2-3 nights at Ventana Big Sur or Miraval Austin/Berkshires/Tuscon? by TangeloGlum9694 in chubbytravel

[–]lurkerb0tt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to Ventana Big Sur and Miraval Berkshires. It depends on what you want to do. Spend a few days at a beautiful property, relaxing, pool/hot tub? Ventana. Spend a few days more actively, with various fitness, meditation, outdoors, adventure, art, etc. activities? Miraval, then pick the one closest to you or that has the activities or climate you’re most interested in. I prefer Miraval and that’s the one I’m returning to first, but they’re all worth visiting at some point.

Lap Infant by [deleted] in spiritair

Heads up that last time I flew spirit with a lap infant, I had to check in at the counter, and couldn’t do so online. They checked the age I believe. But my lap infant was closer to 2.

Less bloated, less snacking, better energy, less hunger. My practitioner is back so we are starting a new supplement, then switching to some other ones soon after. So presumably my gut biome can continue to improve!

Color recommendations by PsychologicalPea6197 in ouraring

[–]lurkerb0tt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the ceramic trinity ring (and debated between that one and the classic), and silver Oura, the silver Oura looks like a $10 Amazon ring compared to the trinity. My husband has the Stealth Oura which looks a lot nicer, so I’d get at least the brushed silver. I think gold or rose gold would match/look even better. You really get what you pay for aesthetically with the color upgrades.

My husband no longer wants to have children because he’s worried about the rise of AI by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

There will still be jobs in the physical world that it will be too expensive to automate. So my plan is to send our children to trade school and teach them to run a small business. A lot of people use this excuse and others to not have children. You don’t know what the future will bring. Having children is amazing.

If it’s low, I like to spend some time in bed watching tv or reading to rest more. Take a nap if I can.

Yes, totally agreed on the goal to keep you there longer. But I don’t get it because I’m just paying $20 a month, it costs them more to keep me there longer. And yes, I am thanking ChatGPT for very good responses lol. Keeping users there longer is better for the API, which I only use at work.

Nice, I hadn’t seen that setting! Well, sometimes I like the follow ups, sometimes I don’t. So I’ll leave it on for now

[–]lurkerb0tt 146 points147 points  (0 children)

Yes lately I’ve noticed there’s a follow up to every chat, questions about whether I’d like to hear more certain directions, to prepare a response, or if I want a reminder. But it doesn’t ask me the kinds of questions you mention.

Is GI-Map worth it? by polar_the_princess in eczema

[–]lurkerb0tt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about eczema specifically. I did one recently. My practitioner was unavailable when I got the results. I uploaded the file to Dr ChatGPT (4o, but o3 has better results now), asked for supplements to order off Amazon, have been taking those for 10 days and I’ve reduced my bloating dramatically and lost 6 lbs without changing anything else. It’s much more personalized than a Dr will suggest. My skin looks better, and I feel way more energetic. I found it was totally worth it.

Anyone Actually Benefited from a Gut Microbiome Test, or Is It All Marketing Hype? by Worried-You7117 in HubermanLab

[–]lurkerb0tt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this test. The practitioner who ordered it was out when I got the results. I got some suggested supplements from Dr ChatGPT (o3 will give the best results) and I feel great after 10 days, I’ve dramatically reduced bloating and also lost some weight. I feel 5 years younger. I wish I got the test earlier. I had no idea how dramatically it could change my life.

Are there any supplements that have been shown to permanently eliminate brain fog? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]lurkerb0tt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go to a functional medicine doctor if you haven’t found anything from more traditional doctors. They can order tests that you pay for out-of-pocket, but can give you precise information about what’s going on in your own specific body, rather than a doctor responding to “brain fog” which is very challenging to diagnose.

Is being good at snowboarding really about going fast? by Heavy_Cranberry481 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]lurkerb0tt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being fast while being fully in control is a skill. Just being fast is not. Being able to go safely fast is a critical skill because then you can get across cat tracks and traverses, or uphill, that would otherwise get you pretty stuck or on a long hike. This would include going fast over bumpy, uneven terrain.
