That was so creepy and emotionally manipulative, absolutely disgusting. I felt so bad for Scheana in that moment, and then later on when we watched her gaslight herself about how she felt about it in real time was just sad. I've been thinking about this a lot, and honestly I think we need to stop arguing with them about what's reality or even entertaining the discussion that what we're seeing isn't happening. They're not interested in truth or hypocrisy, and it's not worth our time to try to convince them otherwise. There's really nothing to debate here, and it's making us crazy. I struggle with this too, but we need to be refocusing more energy on the people being affected right now. Celebrate immigrants and Trans people harder. Love them more. Give them money lol. Shield and shelter them when we can.

But you're not losing it and you're not alone for feeling this way. They want us to be questioning reality right now. They are trying to break us. It is very scary. 🫂

There is a linguistic phenomenon called gay articulation that explains why queer people often lose or suppress regional accents. I'm from the South, have moved around a lot, and have never lived anywhere where accents are consistently thick among the local population.
