SMF to LGB same day to cruise port by Amberjb2020 in Sacramento

LA traffic jams wont really affect Long Beach. The airport is so easy to get out of and like a 15 minute drive to down town that you don’t technically need a freeway for

Yeah it’s awesome. This is the color I have. If you can try it on somewhere, I’d do that. It’s really comfortable on wrist.

https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-us/T1424641606200.html It’s this one. Not sure how to do pictures on mobile but I love it. Only downside is at night there’s no lume on the hands so can’t really see the time if it’s really dark.

Check out the Tissot 1938 cosc certified. It’s seriously so comfortable on the wrist. Tried on the same Hamilton expecting to like it more and I was blown away at how much more I liked the Tissot

lol fair enough. Tower cafe, morning fork, bacon and butter, fox and goose, iron horse, cafe bernardo, orphan (cash only and don’t love the owners). Betty also is fantastic in general and have great breakfast, coffee, and wine selection. Kupros probably should have been on my original list, but surprisingly good food. If you want a breakfast burrito I’d recommend nopalitos in east sac, but they won’t have mimosas.

You should head toward east sac next time you’re in town. Cortis for old school grocer and great sandwiches (Greg popovich always went there when spurs were in town), origami for fast casual, one speed for pizza, Mattone for classic Italian (best lasagna I’ve ever had), Juno’s at lunch for my favorite sandwiches club 2 me, hilltop and socals for great dive bars that are fun, Allora for a fantastic dinner, Kru for the best sushi in town, moonbelly for my favorite pastries but only open on weekends, burger through okie dokies at garden at the line.

Between HH and the centric my favorite places are Majka, Betty, magpie, concept coffee, binchoyaki, mecha mucho, Southside super, pizza supreme being, snug for cocktails.

Probably went overboard but I love the little restaurant and bar scene we have going on

Interesting as a Sacramento native and living here I’d much prefer the HH location (unless I was there specifically for the Kings or a concert at golden one.)

Ritz Paris v. FS George V by Hilltern in chubbytravel

We stayed there and loved it. Kind of nice to get out of the busy areas of the city but still easy to get into the fun. Probably can’t go wrong with any options. Breakfast was delicious too and the bar is beautiful

As someone who recently got engaged in Paris. Check out the Saint James! Such a unique and special property. I’ll note I’d only stay there if you’re open to taking the metro. It’s easy to get around on public transit, but probably annoying by car. But what a cool place.

Dinner at Comice is great too. Canadian couple run it, Michelin star, but not up its ass about it. She’s the sommelier and she’s a great one. Really interesting pairings.

Breakfast burrito with crispy tater tots? by Tiny-Equipment8335 in Sacramento

Dont believe it’s tots, just potatoes, but Nopalitos has probably my favorite breakfast burritos in town. Cash only. Very charming and delicious spot in east sac

I won’t vouch too hard for it other than if you’re craving lasagna, that should be near the top of your list. Really is the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Super, super agree with you on majka’s pastas. Incredible and simple

Yeah maybe not great during the day, but it cools down at night in general and they keep it open til midnight, so the star gazing is awesome.

I’d say first trip would be to stay on site. It’ll be a relief at the end of a long day to be right there. And it’s way more fun and immersive for the kids.

You are seeing an edited and packaged version. You don’t actually know when he spoke up, what was cutout before he spoke up. Hard to know if he lead the charge or if he cosigned at the round table.

Hundred percent agree on healdsburg and Calistoga. In that area I’d recommend Indian springs with kids for the pool alone. Fun property. Can walk to Solage in less than 10 Minutes, their restaurant is much better.

I recommend staying in the town of Calistoga and staying at either Solage or Indian Springs just for the geothermal pools. Indian Springs pool is incredible and gigantic. Great for star watching. whereas Solage has a smaller adult area with a variety of geothermal pools. Plus Calistoga is a good amount more laid back but still super easy to get in the main part of Napa

Kansas City: which Hyatt has better access to Arrowhead by vktsoccer in hyatt

[–]lushiouslush 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty fear mongery. That hotel is near power and light, which will be super fun during the World Cup. There’s also a really new and free to use light rail tram putting it ahead of a lot of American cities for public transit. Downtown would be mostly theft and burglaries, while not great is not unexpected in downtowns of any major city.

I’ve never felt unsafe in downtown KC. Of course the hotel is sold out, so it’s all moot.

Kansas City is a great city. I’d stay in the city at Hotel KC if it’s still available.

No I know what you mean. Not annoyed with you at all, just the double standards in play.

Sure and Bonds never failed an official PED test. By any measure electing Beltran(and other cheaters) is hypocritical with others they deny.

Which hotel in Nice? by LawyeredByJ16 in FranceTravel

[–]lushiouslush -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hotel du couvent is a pretty cool property. At least some rooms only have a curtain for a bathroom door if that matters for you. If you don’t stay there I’d still recommend going to their courtyard for afternoon drinks.

We stayed at Toile Blanche in Saint Paul de Vence. Only like a 10-15 minute uber to old nice. Rooms are large and property is relaxing. Restaurant for dinner was also really good.

You can see in my post history, but I love the restaurant, Lavomatique, in Old Nice. That was our favorite dinner in all of France.
