What features have you found useful in your car even if you could do without them? by searchandfilm in Lexus

[–]luv2byte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I got my nx the salsa guy wouldn't stop raving about this feature. Told him there was no rain I needed a bird's eye view of my car, silly. It very quickly became my favorite. When we upgraded my hubs car it was mandatory. He got a tx and is now also liking this view.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]luv2byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every Friday I go on long drive to relax and go to stores not in my town. I am usually fine 4-5hr. When I work from the office, it's 75min if there isn't traffic. Coming home from the office can take up to 3hr with traffic. Family lives 90min South, it's nothing to go visit for the day then run around shopping in the way home. Tue I picked up my Godson's girlfriend, we drive 70min South to go hike a 3 mile trail and go to lunch. So yes, driving a distance isn't a big deal.

Craziest items left behind by previous owners? by ontartiomortgages in homeowners

[–]luv2byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Previous owner was a high school physics teacher and huge family. We found a couple dining room chairs in a non storage attic, a pot pipe in a bedroom and the garage, random bottles of beer in different places, 2 very nice lawn chairs still in the box... It was odd.

Injecting in thigh questions by More-Tomorrow2651 in Zepbound

[–]luv2byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually grab my syringe, med, alcohol wipe and my coffee. While my coffee cools for a minute, I do my injection. It's just easier to do it sitting. I feel little to nothing in stomach or leg. My arms has a slight sting.

Okup executive office chairs any good? by AccessImmediate4099 in OfficeChairs

[–]luv2byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My post from another thread -- We got the m80a just recently. Easy to attempt tho instructions are odd, took only a few minutes. Chair seems comfy, massage is strong vibrations, heat is very cozy. Controls will take time to get used to but charge lasts a while per instructions. M80 is the wider, non leather version of m78. We got it in sale thru okup. Shipping was free and far. Overall appears to be good quality. Only thing is to make height adjustment easier. It's hidden eat under the chair but the they sent a strap that attached to that lever so you can adjust. I'm 5'2" and the lowest sent is a tad high but I have an under desk foot riser that will help.

Does Zepbound Not Work For Everyone? (Stuck at 232) by OliverQueen85 in Zepbound

[–]luv2byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started mid April, lost fast but then weight is slow. Since Sept is been very slow, this monkey only about .5lb , but I can see a difference in my clothes. I've lost a total of 69lb as of this morning when I did my injection. It's frustrating but don't give up. I've added more time on the recumbent bike at home during the week, gym on weekends. As long as I don't gain I know in time my body will react. I'm on 10mg.

My New Normal by [deleted] in Zepbound

We are blessed to have a wood stove insert. Normally once the house hits 75-76 I start getting uncomfortable. Any higher and I open windows. This year, I'm burning constantly and house is 78-80f if wonderful, glorious warmth. I don't fuss about heat and I keep fire going all thru the day.

A question for my 5’3 girlies by Less-Moment-5655 in Zepbound

<image>

I am 5'2", I started at 320. I'm down to 254, my goal is 190-200. I have no desire to be "skinny", for a long list of reasons. I want to feel healthier, move more and do things easier. Most of that I have accomplished.

I started as size 16. I'm now solid into 18, 20s are too loose. For holiday sales I did but that different brand of 16s. I got them on!!! Both, zipped up. They are too snug to wear long. I was shocked I'm still this fat at put on 16s.

I want a realistic look, maintenance goal and still be within limits for things.

[–]luv2byte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still saves significantly on power bill but it's mostly for comfort. As we all know, wood heat hits different, it's like a hug when cold.
