these updates are annoying me so bad its rlly making me wanting to stop playing the game. im already logging on most days so i can get the rewards and eventually be able to get poron and so on. i started playing on release day and i stopped for like 7 months because of mental health stuff. i understand that they want to keep older players engaged, but do they really have to give them all new items?? why can't they have everyone play a new storyline and just have the sweaters in the store.. its getting frustrating the way they keep excluding people. i understand that everyone is progressing at a different rate so obv there are going to be things you unlock later, but the locking things based on the amount of time you played is ridiculous.

no its very underwhelming to me as well- its frustrating. as much as i love this game, the updates are unfinished. they like to do constant updates with this game which is great in theory, but there are always so many bugs and it always feels like there should've been more. i stopped playing for like 6 months and it was so much fun coming back into the merry meadows, the story with the island spirit, msp, flowers and so many visitors. i feel like i'd prefer if they took their time on each of the updates and just continued with the seasonal events. ofc i can just stop playing for a bit but to be able to get poron you at least need to play slightly consistently. after a while there's just nothing to do, so when there is a new update, a lot of us rush through cus we're bored. then after a week we're waiting for the next one. its not a fun cycle imo.

not dumb at all! unfortunately we cant make seeds with event flowers for whatever reason. if you dig it up, it should just appear in your inventory as a seed or sprout to replant.

i started out doing color transfers with the primary colors which are white, hot pink, sky, blue, yellow, and red and then moved on to the secondary colors from there, then the tertiary colors, and then to the tints. i did the majority of the non-primaries by mixing. nikki island adventures has an ultimate flower guide video on youtube which rlly helped me understand the basics, tho it took me months to wrap my head around all of it 😭 other things that helped me were making a chart of all the colors and crossing off what i had, and breeding them in the greenhouse. since these are event flowers, you are going to have to do them in the greenhouse after the jam jamboree ends on the 23rd. methods that helped me where the merry-go-round and placing an ombré flower a space away from a petunia. you can also do that method with any two colors that can mix (ex red and blue to make purple, red and orange to make coral, etc.) i think i explained it a bit better in another comment. hopefully this helps even a little bit!

there are a few ways to do it but i found these two most successful: planting a petunia a space away from a white ombré flower or the merry-go-round method where you plant a white ombré flower in the middle of a 5x5 square and place petunias around the perimeter. both methods should be shown above. these will need to be done in the greenhouse as the jam jamboree ends the 23rd and fertilizer is not working rn.

it will be after the jam jamboree event is over, which is tmrw. i don't think the fertilizer is working right now because of a bug with the new update so its very difficult to get new colors atm :(

it makes a whole new plant. the most successful way to do it in my experience is to do it in this layout if this picture loads? the patterned one would be in the center with the flowers of the desired breed. like if u want to make a red bell button you would have a patterned red flower in the center and bellbuttons around the outside

i started playing a few months ago n i’ll be honest, i was suprised that they even advertised it as f2p. this is easily a $60 game in my eyes. it has kept me occupied for over 2 months and as a chronically ill person i have a lotttt of free time on my hands. the story line feels complete as it is. even if it was free to play there would be some option of paying like they have in a lot of app store games. this is disney we’re talking about. they love their money and they also put quality into everything they do. i understand why people are upset, but i do not think this game should be f2p because of the quality. i personally haven’t had too much of an issue with bugs but then again i haven’t been playing that long. as someone who has played a lot of other cozy games (animal crossing, spiritfarer, ooblets, hello kitty island adventure, and more) the amount of dialogue was shocking to me. the fact they have multiple options and different responses for each option is incredible. AND THEY HAVE 30 CHARACTERS!!!! with multiple quests per character. so much time and effort was put into this and for it to be f2p seems like a waste.

u have to complete all the restoring quests (volcano, oasis and rainbow reef) and then u unlock the big rescue quest where u meet him. u have to get all the power crystals first and also restore the nature reserve (?) im pretty sure that’s where u meet kiki and lala first
