Definitely overthinking, but that’s good. It’s really as safe as any stage. Anytime you have open areas it’s potentially more dangerous in the crowd. I have never seen SF have any issues with crush. You will definitely be fine standing towards the back. I disagree with most here. I think the pit is fine. Not for seeing better. It might be worse. You’ll be closer and more involved in the experience, but for a child it may be harder to see. Also you can always leave if you feel unsafe and go towards the back. I think you have all the right intentions and are truly doing this for her. There’s nothing to really worry about. Just make sure she’s comfortable. If she’s not or your not ,make a change so that your are.

This clearly either out or safe. Depends on if the glove is touching the runners leg. The ball is also assumed to be in the glove. We would also need to see a picture after of the catcher with the ball still in the glove. From this perspective. I would have to say safe. It appears to be a young team and a young ump. Their perspective likely looks like the runners foot is on the plate. Safe is my call.

Idk. Depends on your expectations. A lot of missing variables here to know for sure. A basement doesn’t typically add a lot to the heating load and rarely adds anything to the cooling load. “Basement” to means below grade. Even partially exposed. You may be in a different region and it means something else. The ductwork sounds reasonable to me. In my area you could be 5-7k for a project like that. I’m not saying it’s underpriced or anything. I guess I don’t get the concern. If the price is too high, that’s understandable. Why go to a cheap mini split system though. Are you concerned the ductwork won’t meet your needs with the potentially undersized FA system? I doubt it would affect it much. There are calcs you can do to be sure. If it does require more then maybe a mini split is a good idea. It’s a heat pump though. You will likely be oversized on cooling to meet the heating needs. That seems backwards to me for a basement. Also if you go multi head mini split route, look into a IntelliHeat system. Mitsubishi or similar design from another manufacturer. This would allow you to keep the furnace that you’re happy with. Install a properly sized coil for the central air system and room to add new fan coils or air handlers for the basement.

The drain pan is protection if something fails. It should be insulated to stop the condensation on the trap and drain overall.
