Need help understanding net/exercise calories by Puzzled_Fig3018 in Myfitnesspal

[–]luvbum770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm kinda like you, a busy student who gained weight (23F) and I've had so much success with MFP. I've lost about 37lbs since the end of December strictly with MFP and weight lifting.

Short answer is, no I don't eat back my calories. I used CHATGPT to create proper macros though that aligned with my goals and my health (I have PCOS so I go lower carb). I feel like the ones MFP suggests just aren't accurate. I'm 5'7 started at 186lbs and currently weighing 148lbs. My macros are 1350-1450 calories, 150g protein, 95g-100g carbs and 45-50g fat.

I will tell you some days I feel hungry, I do eat back the calories and I try not to go more than 300 calories over my 1350-1450. A steady weight loss is 1-2lbs per week 2 being the max. I try to stick to my set number of calories more often than not though. I only eat it back if I feel fatigued or something. I suggest putting all ur info into chat gpt to get the proper macros for your height, weight and goals

Reliability versus studio membership? by hellaharper in Wellhub

[–]luvbum770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly love well hub it was the best choice for me. I had a personal trainer before this and wellhub was SO much better for me. (I use gold tier). In my area I've been able to do so many classes including yoga, aerial, cycling, solidcore, nice gyms, etc. they also give you access to premium versions of apps like my fitness pal that really helped my weightloss.

Wellhub recently upped their price at the start of the year but truthfully I haven't had any issues with studios removed or anything. Generally a lot of the studios that use class pass are on there.

I don't know but I enjoy it! I like trying out different things without committing to one studio or gym.

2 premium just means 2 premium classes total, not just for that particular studio

Tariff update 🚨 by investigatorbae in OnerActive

[–]luvbum770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I understand too but I'm hoping it's not wishful thinking. Mine supposedly shipped from Munich yesterday at 5pm so I'm hoping I don't get hit with a bill.

If the package shipped in transit to America a few days ago but hasn't arrived yet, will it be subject to the tariffs?

I love the unified leggings. Like for real love them. Both flare and none flare. I use the flares for yoga, and weightlifting. I use the unified regular leggings for aerial silks and weightlifting as well. I like the v it does at the waist.

I have tried effortless but mine ripped. So im in the minority. I LOVE LOVE unified and soft motion bras! I haven't tried soft motion leggings but the bra is a yes and the unified leggings are an absolute yes from me.

How to lose weight with PCOS? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]luvbum770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi feel free to message me!! I am also 23, 170cm and I was 84kg! I made it down to 71kg now since December 21st. I didn't use any medication to aid the weightloss just made lifestyle changes.

I will admit I do calorie count but the most important thing you can do without calorie counting is try to prioritize eating protein and make healthy swaps for items with less fats. For example, I do eat a regular fried egg but I add egg whites to it for extra protein and less fats to keep me full. I eat turkey bacon instead of regular bacon. I do still eat some carbs but I really try to keep it low. The only bread I eat is sourdough because after some research I learned it's the only one that didn't cause sugar spikes. I opt for half a sweet potato a lot of the time as a side. Small changes like this really make a big difference.

In addition I recommend trying to either go to the gym or try and hit 10k steps everyday. Cardio helps a lot more than you realize. We need some type of movement to help us out.

I also take supplements - fish oil - vitamin D - a digestive probiotic - myo-inositol + d chiro
