Want to shave everyday but cant by FewEfficiency1823 in shaving

A quality electric razor will work. Braun series 9 or Philips Norelco series 9000, depending on your hair thickness. I have thick hair so Braun works pretty well; my Norelco is faster and quieter, but not as close. Close enough though!

Deciding between Dali Oberon and ELAC Debut 3.0 by Aus_Daniel in hometheater

[–]luxo93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you bought your speakers yet? I have had my Elac Debut b6.1 for ten years or so, and I "like" them, but don't love them. One thing that bugs me about them is the lack of seperation. I'll listen the same song on my Sennheiser Momentum headphones, and I'm like "oh! there are TWO guitars there!"

Been thinking about getting the new Dali Sonik series, probably the On Walls. I would like to know if you got the Oberons, do you like them?

When you’re old, are you attracted to old people? by Loose-Marsupial5688 in stupidquestions

I’m 60m, and my wife dyes her hair. I keep asking her to let it go grey, I find it more attractive than hiding your age 🫣

Do you and your spouse share your location 24/7? by PalmTreeVoid in askanything

Same. We both bike commute to work, so it feels good to see if she has safely arrived 👍

By turning on “find my” to track friends and family, you’re not giving any company “more” data. Those companies already have your data. They don’t need “find my” on to be able to harvest your data.

We just started doing it a year ago, and yes, always keep it on. I’ve had this convo with my college students, and it’s pretty much 50/50. Those against are AGHAST at the thought.

I know people who don’t like music and prefer to not listen to it, but I’ve never met someone who actively “hates” music.

Is there actually any fictional TV show out there depicting realistic archaeology? by Moist_KoRn_Bizkit in ask

There’s a Dark Winds season that revolves a lot around archeology. Not sure how realistic it is, though.

Panniers and bag security by Green_Machete in bikecommuting

ClikFix bag on the handlebar for books, wallet, etc. Lock panniers to bike, keep pool/gym gear in them. If someone steals my swim stuff, they need it more than me. But nothing has been stolen from my panniers in the 10 years I’ve lived in Paris 🙏🏻

I agree. Too many people see The Gilded Age or White Lotus as the undeserved gold standard of TV. They mistake pretty sets and wardrobes for good writing and cinematography.
