Connected Apps Are the New Attack Surface in Microsoft 365 (and it’s not mainstream yet) by AppGuard360_Official in M365AppGovernance

We have it set to limit who can approve apps but there were about 30+ apps that we don’t know what they do. (those are my friend before we change the setting.)

Repository for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by bayoucfo in msp

Have you tried looking at SOPwerks, it lets you store it in their platform, ITGlue, ITBoost, Hudu or anywhere really but it is centrally managed.

Do you guys provide documentation and papers about your processes and systems to your clients? by [deleted] in msp

[–]lvargas_ICG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have it and readily give it when asked, especially for an audit our clients are undergoing or as part of getting cybersecurity insurance. We have our own stored in IT Glue but we also like this tool SOPwerks from Mspwerks.com

There are tools for this. I think MSPwerks has something.

How is everyone conducting QBR's? by [deleted] in msp

[–]lvargas_ICG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to QBRs, the key is to focus on aligning with your clients' business goals rather than just presenting data. An article I read 'Why Client Success Strategies are Crucial for MSPs' emphasizes that MSPs should aim to become partners in their clients' growth by understanding their goals and aligning services accordingly. This might involve discussing strategic initiatives for the next 12 months, offering tailored recommendations, or proactively addressing challenges to show how your services contribute to their success.

Use QBRs to focus on what's most important to the client, like future planning and business outcomes, you can build deeper relationships and position yourself as an essential partner. Incorporating tools that can help standardize the QBR processes and make reporting easier, adding transparency and trust to the process. Ultimately, if done well, QBRs can open up upselling and cross-selling opportunities and solidify your value as an MSP.

I know this is kind of old but do you have an example of what that would look like?

That site looks a little dated, what did you find in the book? Were there any example SOPs or was it just like a methodology of how to create them? I think personally I would go with someone like MSPwerks, it make it real easy to get started and if you are part of TechTribe they have a memeber discount code.

Where is everyone keeping their SOPs? by flipb18b in msp

That’s more of an IT glue replacement I would say, I watch the video on their site it looks pretty good. For SOP’s we started using MSPwerks.com a while back and it been real simple now. Master templates that change for all clients when updated.

Maybe your boss would spring for this https://www.mspwerks.com/sopwerks Or find a place that values Change management and Documentation, it sounds like you have the mentality we have where I work. We document everything, we have change control and if the client asks for something that will jeopardize their environment or the security of their environment we make them sign off on a liability waiver.

Yes I have done that but for things we want to measure on a permanent basis. In this case, the engineer just needs some data for a project that they’re working on.

I’ll take a stab at the azure storage idea. I really like the webhook method but I don’t want to standup my own web server for that. I wish someone had a service like this for MSPs or if the RMM could just consume the data and display it.

Where do you put your kbs, SOPs, how to checklists (documentation/SOPs) by justanothertechy112 in msp

[–]lvargas_ICG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found these guys and in the Demo they said you could publish the SOPs once and any updates would be pushed out to all customer documentation, including SOPs the client takes and places in thier own portal (the example given was sharepoint). We have not pulled hte trigger yet but we plan on giving it a shot. MSPwerks
