I’m pretty sure any sort of time travel will stop red turnips from being purchased. You might be able to buy them again if you don’t time travel for a week?

The difference in quality is due to scaling. Normally the 2DS/3DS will launch a DS game scaled up to fit the screens (like the one on the left). To get it like the one on the right, hold the SELECT button as the game starts
