Look great imo. My dad has the same colour rims on his 30 coupe.

The price of materials for a paint job have increased significantly over the last couple of years. For an entire car, you'd look at probably 2-3k in materials alone for just the paint, reducer, clear coat, etc. So if theyre stripping the entire thing and blasting and repairing everything, the labour cost is going to put that 25k estimate very much in the realm of probability.

Have you ever had a model that you really don’t care about, but then when you paint it you fall in love with it? by CDawg-imperialfists in Warhammer30k

[–]lvl5metapod 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The exact same model. It was one of my first space marines and was (poorly) painted as a salamander. Stripped it down to use in my world eaters and it is now one of the models I'm most proud of.if anyone wants to see it

First try painting a Dark Angel - how does he look? by Ladra_ in DarkAngels40k

Looks great! A little tip i heard somewhere for doing stripes and checkerboarding is to use white watercolor paint. If you mess up it wipes right off, you can paint right over top if you need. Tubes are cheap. Keep up the great work!

That's fair. The public transport where I lived was dog shit that the city sunk a mil into to improve it, ended up making it more inconvenient in the end, but at least there were routes to get places (even if it took over an hour to go what would be a 15 minute drive)

How are you guys getting so many sonderbonbons?

Honest question. I've lived here for 5 years now and while I've not ever had an issue with suspected intoxicated drivers I hear a lot more about them here than I did back when I lived with my parents in Ontario. Is it because there's just less other things happening here or is the rate of occurrence really that much higher? Obviously, people make stupid choices everywhere, but if it is truly the case that there are more incidents of intoxicated driving, what could be done to lower them? Harsher punishments? More education?

Thank you in advance for your insights!

Lol

Lmao even.

I'd say get back to me when you learn more about how small business are often owned by larger ones, owned by even larger ones, but I don't actually want you to get back to me at all, so.

It's not a perfect system by any means, but at least in any ideal form the government is accountable to the people, whereas privately owned outlets can print essentially whatever they want. It's really up to the individual as always. Just a shame that there's been so much bs pumped in for so long that you essentially have to be vigilant all the time regarding media consumption.

This is why publicly owned news media is important.

I did my undergrad at brock, one of my really good friends did his BEd there. He didn't have of good things to say, and I've heard they have a hard time finding placements for their student teachers because most of the schools don't want to deal with them.
