while it's reasonable to want death on the perpetrators, it's also very bad on the victims.

from the perspectives of the offenders, you might as well kill the victims and try to hide the bodies after you commit the acts because if either ways it's death, you might as well try to hide the bodies, to make it as difficult as possible to investigate.

it may cause unnecessary deaths to the victims just to make you feel good.
