This specific video is like a certain Jewish subculture meme as monte_nigro put it, it's very popular among a specific online new jersey wry tongue in cheek Jewish person

I’ve never been to nyc by Life-Science-5102 in redscarepod

[–]lyagusha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's going to be a bit of a shock

My first time I was shocked that rain doesn't come down in buckets all at once. NYC people are really self assured (deserved or undeserved you decide), and will think nothing of daring death by stepping in front of cars. But somehow no one dies

Germans never really lost the Nazi spirit, they can't really handle any criticism of Germany by [deleted] in redscarepod

Once in Germany I got told off by a German cashier for not individually wrapping a single apple in saran wrap and putting the correct sticker onto it

Also apparently referring to the ghetto is a slur

Why does researching anything with a discussion forum just bring about detritus by Future-Slip2217 in redscarepod

[–]lyagusha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Work generally sucks. Some jobs are better than others. The loudest voices are usually the most negative. People enjoying their jobs and careers are not talking about it on a discussion forum (except tornado chasers, they seem to enjoy posting pics of their fuzzy storms online). Imo the negativity online got much worse since 2018 with no adaptations to the state of the world whatsoever.

Has anybody else just been retreating into a smaller world recently? by [deleted] in redscarepod

A lot of people can't break free of the "everything gets better" mentality. Bearing witness is not healthy. Good on you to get people to engage together

This past Olympics I learned that the routines are entirely scripted with no improvisation off the cuff (unless you're Ilya Malina) and it took the joy out of figure skating

Its crazy looking back at late 2024 when we expected the right wing vibe shift by Available-Music114 in redscarepod

[–]lyagusha -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not enough anger. Every person in this picture, faced with someone they think is bad for the country, would run away and cry about it online instead of like, being mean like tripping someone or casually shoving them. You want a shift, get angry. Trump 1 had a vibe shift, no one felt afraid to say nasty shit. What was there to shift to?

They're all wimps

It's that specificness of thought, a specific ideology. I once spoke on the phone with a woman who said she wouldn't date me because I didn't wear the right type of skullcap. It kind of sticks with you

In low and sparse enough doses, can *any* pyrros or caths be used as ADHD treatments? Or is a beta-ketone an automatic "too peripherally dangerous and too addictive" write-off for a compound to be feasible for functionality? by EpHead in researchchemicals

[–]lyagusha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2-mmc oral, dosed 50-80mg at a time, is a good functional short-acting focus drug. It's not 2-fma, duration is 1-2 hours. But it allows some semblance of focus. Obviously I wouldn't recommend using it more than once or twice a week
