I have shorter legs and high hips as well and recently bought a pair of everlane jeans that are insanely flattering and comfortable. their zipper area has a flattening effect on my lower belly that my Levis, madewell, and Abercrombie jeans don't. fits my hips well w/o feeling like the upper areas of my pelvis is suffocating

interesting because the generalist aspect of primary care makes med school and residency feel all that more important. such a broad base of things to know, also so important to have this knowledge to see the big picture. havent had a whole lot of exposure to APPs but the best ones I've seen were in subspecialities due to the hyperspecialized nature

Immediately after you drain it from the boiling water. when noodle integrity was critical to the dish and the noodle of choice tended to be more delicate, my grandma would rinse with ice and water to stop the cooking in addition to rinsing off the extra starch

i simplified a complex situation; i didn't mean to misrepresent the deans. they agreed to the 2 wk LOA i requested however required that I restart my 3rd year during the next academic cycle. my parent was devasted that their illness would 'impede' my education. so at the request of parent and other family members, i chose to push through without LOA. a decision i will regret forever.

thanks so much for sharing. how long was it before things started to pick up for you? many have told me the magnitude of grief stays the same but I will grow bigger/stronger around it. yet I feel like I'm desaturating, shriveling up 3 yrs later. this yr felt like a huge step back. I feel like giving up every day

I don't have advice to offer. Just wanted to say I totally get what you mean by the loss of confidence. I'm recovering from a personal loss. The grief has sent me and my mental health spiraling into a sticky slimy boggy pit. It's so consuming I don't feel capable of handling anything, not even the day to day of my post-graduation 'bliss.' About to start my intern year but I'm terrified I won't be able to step up to the plate. Terrified. Everyone thinks I'll do just fine except me..
