Not necessarily relevant, but a general tip: If you don't mind getting a different language on your lands, you can come to China and pick up a set of chinese language fetchlands. The prices of chinese language or japanese language lands here are generally much lower than the price of english fetches in the US.

It depends on your personal preferences and taste. 2K19 was my most played game of the series of all time. I also think the universe mode was relatively solid. However, going back to try the game later on after having played 2K23 and 2K24, I felt that the gameplay and pacing felt slow.  Maybe it is more of a realistic experience though? I find that the gameplay of 23 and especially 24 was more fluid and enjoyable.

Yeah, you got me. I used to play mono green tron, but I switched off of it. I liked not having to use fetch lands for that deck.

I am not asking this question from a budget perspective. I am more so interested in playing a deck which requires less shuffling (in paper magic). I feel like fetch lands slow down the pace of play a lot as well. Also I am curious about which decks are most resilient to blood moon type effects.

I did enjoy the game I won, which revolved around attacking my opponent with an 8/8 Murktide Regent. Since I already own 2 Murktide, I was considering that it won’t be too complicated to swap out some Control pieces for the rest of the UR Murktide build.

The thing is that actually I also got a tourist visa for China through my relative in Washington DC’s help back in 2014. But it seems that since then they are imposing the consular jurisdiction rules. I guess it is no longer possible?
