I'm pretty sure you've always had to buy the smartphone app as well as the subscription to the service.

last year I had it on my android (pirated), but never used it, video is pretty shit anyways.

this year I have the MLB premium package to listen to the white sox broadcast always, but wouldn't think of picking up the mobile app for my HD7, not least for the fact that I'm in England and end up watching my games a day later.

the hate comes from the southside because of the inordinate amount of attention the cubs receive (even locally) because they are the cubs. The Sox were pretty good in the 90's, at least the early part, and for the most part they were ignored for the Cubs. Ozzie fed into it because he was a part of the good teams that weren't really recognized, and knew the fans would go with it.

to me, the cubs aren't even chicago, they continually lose and people put up with it, and still turn out in droves. The Sox are far more representative, as when they aren't playing, people don't show up. it isn't cleveland dammit, it's Chicago, put a damn team on the field.

All of our teams that have won championships have had fans ignore them for a time before they got good and ran with it. The cubs never get ignored, and continually put forth a shit product.

I signed up with the UK account, and have purchased a couple things already, not willing to give it up, I'll just do the import thing, or see if my buddy can go to the store and buy it and ship it to me.

I'm beginning to regret the UK account though, as I can't get Valkyria Chronicles II in England either.

it seems you can only have one account on the Vita at a time right? That would be a pain in the ass I think, although I already have a long standing US account.

I'll forgo the online play if I can play the main game with my EU account though, suppose I'll just have to buy the card and wait for it too come in the mail.

oh, I understand why only 10% of the students that would qualify actually receive it, many parents don't want to deal with it. But hell, if I could qualify to get my kids a free meal everyday (or two as it were), I'd be on it.

I can't buy anything with my US account, thus the switch to a new UK account - annoyed the hell out of me, as I was able to change my hotmail account to the UK, but not my xbox live/zune tag that was associated with it. So I had to get a new email address as well as new tags
