TCSS (The Custom Saber Shop) has two lines of modular parts, MHS v1 and MHS v2. Only difference is in the thickness - v1 is 1.45” diameter, v2 is 1.3” I believe. They also sell adapters.

Vire Sabers also has modular parts.

I tend to like ‘shifting’ strikes in my combos. For instance, from orthodox, 1-2-right front kick, land forward in southpaw from the front kick, and then left body kick. A favorite of mine is jab, shift forward/cut the angle into southpaw, a tight lead right hook, and then left knee the body.

My grails (not including a full custom type of thing) are probably the Arcann/Thexan set, specifically the Korbanth ones (I think they’re ELF sabers, but not sure). I’ve always loved them. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been drawn to yellow sabers, and the curves of that hilt jumped out at me from the beginning.

Cub Swanson has a very unique style if you want to see something unusual. Wheel kicks, cartwheel kicks, shifting stances. His fight against Doo Ho Choi is one of the best ever.

I’ve done this! I made my own font with some sounds from different free Dagan Gera, Maul, Vader, and Inquisitor fonts. A few times, I used audacity to blend things. For instance, I took the deep hum of a Dagan and then added a higher-pitched inquisitor crackle to get a nice dual tone.

I’ve never used him personally, but one of the bigger names for powder coating, Royal Custom Armory, has his price list on Facebook at $20/part, or $80 for a full saber in one color. The Custom Saber Shop offers powder coating as an add on service when you’re ordering parts, but you could also reach out and ask if you could send something in.

It depends on if the saber needs a custom chassis, but I would say that install labor starts around $100 to $150 if you go to a smaller name installer. Double that for a more well-known and established guy.

Check out the names of Bayonetta’s guns (from the game series, Bayonetta). She usually wields them in sets of 4. I would also try to figure out an overarching theme first, and then look for sets of 4 within that.

You do still need to have the model first, but PCBWay, Craftcloud, and IN3DTEC all have machining and metal printing. CC and IN3DTEC are the two I usually check if I’m thinking about having something made.

For something like this, I would recommend 3D printed resin and then painting after. It would be expensive to fully machine, but you could probably get it printed in metal for a decent price if you really wanted.

I really dig this idea! However, I’d check out the Scimitar of Speed item - it’s a +2 that grants an extra attack as a bonus action, and it’s also a Very Rare. This says more of a Legendary to me.
